Monica Garcia is speaking out after a report surfaced that she was dismissed from the cast of The Traitors Season 3 due to failing a psychological evaluation.
The former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star is threatening legal action against the outlet that made the claim.
Monica, who left Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after being linked to a troll account targeting her co-stars, remains a polarizing figure among fans. Despite the controversy, her season brought in high ratings, with many viewers branding her a “villain” who added significant entertainment value.
Taking to Instagram, Garcia addressed a headline from The Neighborhood Talk that read: “Former ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Star, Monica Garcia, Who Was Caught Running a Fake Account That Bullied Her Co-Stars, Was Allegedly Booted from NBC’s ‘Traitors’ Because She Failed a Psych Exam.”
Monica fired back, commenting, “This is actually terrible that you would post this. Complete lie. Disgusting! … Let’s get on the call with the executives together. Let’s find out how good your source is. I am the source. I didn’t even do one interview. Pathetic and absolutely disgusting.”
In a follow-up comment, she asserted, “@theneighborhoodtalk I will be taking legal action. This is insanely damaging and FALSE.”
Garcia also took to her Instagram Stories, sharing the headline with the caption, “WHAT THE F!!!!! Are you serious right now!!!??”
In a video post, she criticized the outlet for the false claims, saying:
“To go out there and make and publish a claim that I failed a psych evaluation is a complete lie. It’s disgusting. Also like to play with my mental health like that is extremely disturbing. I didn’t even go through the process of Traitors to where I would even be asked to take a psych evaluation. It didn’t even go that far. I was never even asked to take a psych evaluation. So to sit here and say that I failed one … is wild.”
