‘Teen Mom’ Star Amber Portwood’s Fiance Gary Wayt MISSING Under Suspicious Circumstances! 

Amber Portwood’s fiancé, Gary Wayt, reported missing since June 10, has sparked widespread concern, prompting an urgent search in the Indianapolis area.

Amber Portwood was cherishing precious moments with her fiancé, Gary Wayt, mere hours before he was declared missing.

An insider exclusively disclosed to Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 11, that the couple had journeyed to North Carolina the previous week to partake in a family wedding in the Bryson City region.

“They were spending several days in the Smoky Mountains,” the insider shared with Us. “On Sunday, June 9, they had a conversation that turned emotional. Gary left in the car without her and in the process, he left his cell phone behind.”

Since the conversation, Amber, 34, has been “beside herself and worried about him.”

“He should have been home by now if he was driving [back] home to Indiana. It doesn’t appear he has been to their house in Indiana,” the source added. “Amber is distraught. She has friends helping to locate him.”

The Bryson City Police Department announced on Facebook on Tuesday that Gary Wayt was last observed in Bryson City two days earlier. Authorities describe the 39-year-old as 6-foot-1, weighing 205 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head. He was last seen driving a 2009 gray Nissan Rogue SUV with Indiana state registration plates.

An incident report acquired by Us Weekly on Tuesday confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing.

According to a source, Amber Portwood reported Wayt missing to local police on Monday, June 10. “She doesn’t know where he is,” the insider noted. “She hasn’t heard from him and he hasn’t communicated with her or his family.”

Wayt’s disappearance comes just days after Us Weekly exclusively confirmed his engagement to Amber. A source close to the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star told Us on June 7 that the proposal happened “within the last two weeks” and included an engagement ring crafted from “a family stone that was reset into a new ring.”

“She’s really, really happy,” the source shared at the time. “They’ve been in couple’s therapy and talk about everything. They’re being very proactive in their relationship and are doing the work to prevent problems before they start.”

Indianapolis, IN – Wayt, who recently made his first appearance on the popular show Teen Mom, is known for his strong family values and dedication to caring for his parents. Despite not having children himself, those close to him describe him as “very family-oriented.”
