Teresa Giudice Reveals She Texted Dina Manzo After Her Ex-Husband’s Conviction!
During a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Andy Cohen posed the question to Teresa Giudice regarding her interaction with Dina Manzo following the conviction of Dina’s ex-husband, Thomas Manzo, last week.
Confirming the outreach, Teresa, 52, revealed, “I texted her, and she hearted it.” When asked about her overall reaction to the news, Giudice simply remarked, “You know, justice was served.”
The relationship between Teresa and Dina, also 52, has been under the microscope, with rumors swirling since their apparent falling out in 2022.
Initially sparking speculation when Manzo skipped Giudice’s wedding to Luis Ruelas and subsequently unfollowed the couple on Instagram, their rift gained further attention when Joe Gorga broached the topic on RHONJ the following year. Joe, 49, attributed the tension to a business deal between Luis, 49, and Dave Cantin, 44, Dina’s husband.
“David called me because I’m friendly with David,” Joe revealed in April 2023, insinuating that Ruelas had soured yet another relationship in Teresa’s life.
However, sources close to the situation dismissed any speculation of friction between the couples, labeling Gorga’s claims as “comical” and asserting that there was “zero issue … at all.” Another insider clarified that Dina’s absence at the August 2022 wedding was merely due to her preference to avoid being filmed.
In addition, Dina Manzo reacted to the news. Taking to Instagram, the 52-year-old shared a photo of herself joyously raising her hands to the sky, prompting an outpouring of supportive messages from her followers.
“Light always wins!!!” exclaimed one supporter, to which Dina responded with a resolute “ALWAYS.”
Another admirer lauded Dina’s bravery and strength, prompting a flurry of appreciative red-heart emojis from the reality TV personality.
A third commenter reflected on the revelation of truth, writing, “What’s done in the dark is revealed in the light,” to which Dina signaled her agreement with a shining star emoji.
In response to a fan expressing happiness over her long-awaited justice, Dina conveyed her gratitude with a purple-heart emoji. Additionally, she shared her sentiments on the verdict by posting a poignant quote on her Instagram Story, affirming her reclamation of power and energy from draining influences.
“I call my power back to me. I call my energy back to me. I call my magic back to me,” the quote read. “I am cleansed and disconnected from anything that may drain me. I am shielded from any energy that does not serve me.”
Captioning the post with a simple “And it is so,” Dina emphasized her conviction. In another Instagram Story, she reposted an image of the Virgin Mary clutching prayer beads, along with photos of herself and Cantin, whom she wed in 2017, and her 28-year-old daughter, Alexia.
Dina, a former RHONJ cast member from 2009 to 2010, briefly returned to the show in 2014 before stepping away again.
With Thomas Manzo’s sentencing scheduled for October 15, the 59-year-old faces the possibility of up to 46 years in prison and a hefty fine for his crimes, which include conspiracy, falsifying documents, and committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity.
