During a episode of the Chicks in the Office podcast on Friday, June 7, Paige DeSorbo didn’t shy away from discussing the tumultuous romance between her close friend Ciara Miller and Summer House castmate West Wilson.

“He knows what he did wrong or what he did right,” Paige, 31, candidly stated regarding West, 28.

“He fumbled the bag. It’s not like, ‘Oh my god, I’m never going to talk to you.’”

Despite the ups and downs, Paige expressed optimism for their future, mentioning that since Ciara, 28, and West “didn’t fully date,” there might still be room for them to salvage a friendship.

Paige even praised West, referring to him as a “great addition” to Summer House, albeit humorously adding, “He’s not, like, a Sandoval.”

The comparison to Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Sandoval stems from a notorious cheating scandal involving Sandoval and his former partner Ariana Madix.

This comparison sheds light on the severity of the drama, highlighting that despite West and Ciara’s romance and breakup being relatively mild in comparison, it still stirred up its fair share of emotions.

Reflecting on the drama, Paige emphasized her loyalty to Ciara, stating, “I’m very biased when I come to my friend, I’m like they’re an angel, they’re the best.”

She defended her interrogation of West, insisting that she simply wanted clarity on his intentions.

West, in his defense, acknowledged the challenges he faced in navigating fame and the attention that came with being on the show. While he initially struggled to commit to Ciara, he later expressed regret over how he handled the situation.

Detailing their post-summer endeavors, West disclosed, “We kept things rolling to December, early December we had a dinner about like laying it all out there and figuring out what we were going to do.”

Ciara chimed in, recalling their shared experiences, “We went to his parents’ house, we went and stayed with his brother in Chicago, we went to a wedding.”

When pressed by host Andy Cohen about the nature of their relationship post-summer, Ciara confirmed they continued their intimacy.

Reflecting on their initial attraction, Ciara admitted, “I love a funny guy. We’ve all seen that,” adding, “I don’t know, I got got, I think, a little bit.”

However, the reunion took a poignant turn as Ciara expressed feeling manipulated by West’s actions.

West, in response, acknowledged his involvement with other women, clarifying, “That was still early into our relationship, and I said that to Paige because Ciara and I had not had that talk yet.”

Ciara revealed a pivotal moment in December, before the premiere of Season 8, when West conveyed his hesitations about committing due to “show-related reasons.”

West delved into the challenges of newfound fame, admitting to grappling with public perception and the influx of attention from fans.

As emotions ran high, West expressed regret over the pain Ciara endured, stating, “It’s not my intention to, like, f—ng hurt someone, especially someone you care about.” However, Ciara tearfully admitted feeling led on and cautioned against dismissing their relationship as merely a ploy for screen time.

Looking ahead, Paige expressed her willingness to move past the drama, acknowledging that West’s newfound fame played a role in the dynamics of their relationship.

Similarly, West admitted that his nerves and external factors contributed to the tension during the reunion.
