Lala Kent SLAMS Ariana Madix for Acting Like A MAJOR DIVA On ‘Vanderpump Rules’

During a recent episode of Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge’s podcast, Lala Kent didn’t hold back as she delved into the dynamics of the Vanderpump Rules cast.

She particularly singled out co-star Ariana Madix for what she described as “gray rocking” and diva tendencies.

In her candid discussion, Lala addressed the term “gray rocking,” often used to describe a method of disengagement from toxic individuals, alleging that Ariana has been employing this tactic since joining the show.

“Ariana said this season she was gray rocking. I’m like, you’ve been gray rocking from the jump, babe,” Kent stated during the June 10 episode of Two Ts in a Pod.

“There’s no change here except this year we actually need you to do something.”

Lala Kent further elaborated on her frustrations, expressing concern about a perceived sense of entitlement creeping into the workplace.

“What I started getting upset about is now we’re bringing a little bit of divaness to my place of work that I’ve been doing for eight years,” she revealed.

Despite the tensions, Lala acknowledged Madix’s contributions to the show’s success, particularly following her involvement in a high-profile scandal.

“When Ariana started getting opportunities outside of Vanderpump Rules, that’s great for all of us… The show reached a level that it never would have reached without this,” Kent acknowledged.

However, Kent didn’t shy away from critiquing the perceived lack of engagement from certain cast members, revealing that producers had intervened during filming to encourage Ariana to participate more actively.

“Cameras shut down season 10 for producers to talk to Ariana, like, ‘You gotta give something. You gotta care a little bit,'” Kent disclosed.

Lala’s commentary extends beyond her interactions with Ariana, as she also addressed backlash she received during the latest season, admitting it was her “hardest season” yet.

Amidst the drama, Kent emphasized the importance of maintaining authenticity while recognizing the show’s role as entertainment.

In addition, Lala Kent didn’t mince words when discussing the state of her friendship with fellow Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix.

Kent offered insights into the rift, attributing it to Madix’s rushed emotional processing amid filming. Back in March, Lala went on Jeff Lewis’s podcast and spoke about it.

“I think it’s really important for people to know that she did not have much time to process before we went into filming,” Lala shared with Lewis.

“I think that’s where she’s maybe losing a couple of people in the group.”

The discussion delved into various aspects of Ariana’s behavior that Lala found perplexing, including her expressions of feeling unsafe while continuing to reside in the same household as her ex-partner.

Lala expressed her confusion over Madix’s rapid involvement with a new romantic interest shortly after her breakup.

“So, I wanted her to kind of explain how all of these things can be true at once and I was looked at as kind of an idiot,” Kent remarked, highlighting her frustration with the apparent cognitive dissonance.

Lala Kent has been unfollowed Ariana Madix before the reunion even aired.
