Braunwyn Windham-Burke CONFESSES to Using Ozempic, Claims She Can’t Eat Because of It!

Braunwyn Windham-Burke, former star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, has revealed her use of the Type 2 diabetes medication Ozempic to aid in weight loss.

The reality TV alum shared her experience with Us Weekly, expressing how the drug has helped her feel “amazing” since she began taking it after her 2023 move to Nashville with her partner, Jen Spinner.

While Windham-Burke is thrilled with the results of her Ozempic-enhanced physique, her partner, Spinner, has mixed feelings about the changes in their lifestyle.

Jen, to whom Braunwyn became engaged last July, humorously noted how the medication has impacted their daily routines.

“She would make dinner every night when we first got together because I don’t cook or really do anything,” Jen quipped.

Braunwyn playfully responded, “I don’t want to cook because I can’t eat! Feed yourself!”

At 46, Windham-Burke explained her reasons for seeking assistance with her weight. “The food is different. There’s Loveless Cafe and biscuits and fried chicken … I’m not a person with a lot of self-control,” she said.

“I gained 20 pounds.” The shift in her diet and lifestyle prompted her to turn to Ozempic for help in shedding the extra weight.

Braunwyn is not the first Bravo star to publicly acknowledge using weight loss medications.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson admitted in June 2023 that she used Ozempic before undergoing liposuction and a breast reduction.

However, Emily’s experience was less positive. “I didn’t like the way it made me feel lethargic and it made me just not have a lot of energy, which was hard with three little kids,” Simpson said. “But it does make you feel full and it does make you, for me, it was like a refresh.”

Other Bravo personalities have also come forward about their use of Ozempic. Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Jennifer Fessler, Margaret Josephs, and Dolores Catania, as well as Real Housewives of Salt Lake City housewife Heather Gay, have all admitted to using the medication.

Conversely, Melissa Gorga recently shared her stance on the matter with Sherri Shepherd, claiming she’s the “only one” on the RHONJ cast not using the diabetes medication. “I work out really, really hard,” the mother of three, 45, said. “To each their own for everything, but no, I don’t take it.”

As more celebrities open up about their use of weight loss drugs like Ozempic, the conversation around body image and health continues to evolve, reflecting a wide range of personal choices and experiences.
