Lala Kent Shuts Down Rumors of Joining ‘The Valley’ and Pitching Spinoff!
Lala Kent is finally addressing rumors about her joining the cast of The Valley and pitching a spinoff to the network.
Amid the hiatus of Vanderpump Rules, speculations have been rife about a potential crossover of cast members to The Valley. The latest buzz surrounds Lala Kent, with whispers suggesting she might be eyeing a transition.
Rumors escalated when she was reportedly in early discussions with The Valley’s casting team even before the conclusion of Vanderpump Rules‘ Season 11.
Kent’s recent purchase of a house in the neighborhood added fuel to the fire, hinting at a possible seamless integration.
The Season 11 reunion further fueled these rumors when Lala expressed her desire to retreat from the limelight and focus on starting a family, stating she simply wanted to go “bake a baby” in peace. However, Lala swiftly addressed the hearsay, dismissing any notion of actively pursuing a spot on The Valley.
During a candid moment on her podcast, Give Them Lala, she set the record straight, attributing her move to financial practicality rather than strategic career moves.
“I have not had any conversations about entering The Valley,” she asserted. “I have had no thought about going on The Valley.“
Lala emphasized that her decision to settle in the Valley was purely economical, aligned with what she and her friends could afford.
Meanwhile, producer and showrunner Alex Baskin poured cold water on the speculations, stating that they weren’t actively seeking Vanderpump Rules cast members for The Valley.
Baskin reinforced the notion that the current cast for The Valley was robust enough to ensure the show’s success without additional star power.
“I know there’s a ton of speculation about [Pump Rules] transfers over to The Valley, but that cast is pretty full right now,” he confirmed.
While questions linger about Lala’s future, including whispers of her pitching her own show, she debunked any such notions, affirming that she had never pitched a spinoff about her life.
Despite Kent’s denial, fans remain skeptical, with some expressing their doubts and others poking fun at the situation, particularly wondering how fellow cast member Scheana Shay is reacting to the drama.
“Lala’s lies are giving me a headache,” one fan quipped.
While another sarcastically remarked, “I wonder how Scheana is dealing with this right now LOLLL.”
“Lala would probably go and pitch a spinoff because she thinks she is that girl” a third commented.
One commenter remarked, “Even if she had a spinoff i would not tune in. I’m only watching the valley”
With Vanderpump Rules temporarily on hold, and The Valley’s finale airing this past Tuesday, fans are in for a surprise as there won’t be a reunion.
