Lala Kent has sparked speculation with her recent comments regarding the opening of Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix’s sandwich shop, Something About Her.

The Vanderpump Rules star, 33, expressed surprise during a recent Amazon Live session, exclaiming:

“Oh my gosh, it’s open? I love that for them.”

However, Lala’s subsequent remarks raised eyebrows among fans. Admitting she doesn’t frequently venture out of her home and rarely visits West Hollywood, where the eatery is located, some viewers interpreted her words as a subtle jab, particularly given past tensions between Lala and Ariana.

Fans wasted no time expressing their opinions on the matter on social media platforms like X. One user quipped:

“Lala please. Didn’t you recently get spotted at a coffee shop? STOP being un-authentic. If you’re going to call out Ariana for not being ‘real,’ then you need to be real.”

In response to Lala’s comments, Katie Maloney took to Instagram to share her thoughts.

“I mean.. Jess for sure watched my [Instagram] stories so she knew.” Jessica Walter is Lala’s employee and one of her friends.

Commenting on a Bravo fan account’s post from Lala’s Amazon Live, Katie hinted at a lack of communication between them, stating:

“Guess they don’t talk that much.”

Addressing the ongoing drama, Lala Kent delved into the situation on the June 3 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala.

Disputing claims that she portrays herself as a “girl’s girl,” Lala clarified her stance, asserting:

“I don’t know when I’ve claimed to be a girl’s girl. Do I prefer chicks over men? Hell yeah”

“But that doesn’t mean that just because you’re a girl, I blindly go into this and support you.”

Furthermore, Lala shared her feelings about Ariana Madix, revealing a perceived lack of support from the Single AF Cocktails author.

She claimed, “She didn’t acknowledge me at all when I had a party to celebrate the longevity of the Give Them Lala brand.” However, some fans debunked this by sharing clips of Ariana actually present at Lala’s party.

Despite the evident tension, Lala emphasized her support for Katie Maloney’s business endeavors. Referring to the genesis of Something About Her on Vanderpump Rules, Lala stressed her ongoing backing for the venture.

However, she expressed frustration with Katie’s reluctance to discuss the sandwich shop’s development with Ariana.
