‘RHOBH’ Alum Adrienne Maloof’s Son Escaped a Kidnapping as a Baby
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof shared a chilling account of a near-kidnapping incident involving one of her sons.
During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live on Tuesday, June 4, the 62-year-old Bravo star recounted how the incident unfolded nearly two decades ago while she was on a shopping trip with her nanny.
“My nanny and I were there, and security was over further away, and this lady came up and my son was crying and she actually took him out of my nanny’s hands and started going towards the elevator,” Adrienne revealed.
“Thank god I had security, but he was in the back looking. The whole thing went down in seconds.”
Although Maloof did not specify which of her sons was involved, given the timeline of the event, it appears to have concerned her firstborn.
Thankfully, her security team swiftly intervened, apprehending the woman as she attempted to flee towards the escalator.
Expressing gratitude for the rapid response of her security team, she reflected on the potential outcome if they hadn’t been present.
“I actually thought, ‘Wow, thank god,’ because what if he wasn’t there … [She could have gotten away],” she remarked.
Adrienne Maloof recently commemorated a significant milestone in her twin sons’ lives by sharing a heartfelt Instagram Reel capturing moments from their high school graduation, set to Bruce Springsteen’s “Glory Days.”
The reel showcased snapshots of Christian and Collin accepting their diplomas, mingling among their peers, and joyfully tossing their graduation caps into the air.
“So proud of my beautiful boys on their graduation day,” Adrienne penned in the caption. “Bittersweet as they move on to the next chapter in their lives.”
Meanwhile, Paul Nassif, Adrienne’s ex-husband, shared his own sentiments on Instagram, posting a photo of himself flanked by his “baby boys” clad in graduation regalia.
“I can’t believe my baby boys… my twins… graduate high school today,” Paul wrote, expressing his pride and love for Christian and Collin.
“You mean everything to me. I’ll be here for you every step of the way,” he added, concluding with a heartfelt message about their future.
Despite not capturing any photos together at the event, Paul’s wife, Brittany Pattakos Nassif, managed to snap additional pictures of the family, including Paulina Nassif, their younger half-sister.
As the family navigates this new chapter, Christian and Collin are keeping close to home for their college endeavors. Christian is set to attend the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, while Collin will head to San Diego State University, just a short distance south in San Diego, California, according to their Instagram bios.
Adrienne and Paul, who were married from 2002 to 2013, experienced marital struggles exacerbated by their time on reality television. Nassif later reflected on the negative impact of their stint on RHOBH, acknowledging that it hastened their eventual divorce. Despite their separation, the former couple maintained an amicable coparenting relationship for the sake of their children.
With her twins transitioning to adulthood, Adrienne faces an empty nest, with her eldest son, Gavin Nassif, has completed his freshman year of college.
