Just hours after the explosive season finale of The Valley aired, Jax Taylor, took to social media to blast his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, accusing her of cheating for the past four months.

Jax Taylor hopped on X, formerly known as Twitter at 3:14 am to share, “you may want to ask brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months….”

The conclusion of The Valley on Tuesday, June 4, brought an end to the show’s first season and saw four of its cast members’ marriages come to a close.

One couple facing significant challenges was Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. The pair were shown finalizing preparations for the launch of their new sports bar, Jax’s Studio City. In a bid to improve their strained relationship, Brittany, 35, arranged for Jax’s sister to fly in as a surprise for the event.

“It can be frustrating, and I feel like you don’t listen to me sometimes,” Brittany confided to Jax, 44. “I feel like you’re not even attracted to me sometimes.”

Despite Brittany’s thoughtful gesture aimed at reconciliation, it brought their underlying issues into sharp focus, highlighting the emotional struggles they faced as the season reached its poignant end.

Jax attributed his recent erratic behavior to stress, but Brittany expressed her disappointment over their delayed plans for expanding their family.

“It kind of hurts my feelings that whenever it came time for our schedule to try to start trying for the baby this month, you were just so against it,” Brittany shared, addressing Jax’s reluctance. Jax reiterated that he had been feeling “overwhelmed.”

Despite their desire to grow their family, Brittany voiced her concerns about their current state.

“As much as I want to have a kid, even I don’t know how me and you can bring another baby into this world if we don’t fix these things in our relationship, you know what I mean?” she explained. “Because I don’t want this for our future.”

The heartfelt exchange underscored the deep issues they need to address, leaving viewers with a poignant glimpse into their relationship challenges as the season concluded.

Despite their rocky relationship, Jax viewed the opening of Jax’s Studio City with Brittany as a significant achievement. At the launch party, where tensions flared between Janet Caperna and Zack Wickham over a missed invitation to her babymoon trip, Jax expressed his gratitude for Brittany’s support.

“I think we beat the odds when it goes to opening a bar with a partner or a significant other, husband, wife, whatever, I think this is the one thing that is keeping Brittany and I together,” Jax shared in a confessional interview. “And right now, the future’s looking pretty bright.”

However, the episode provided a sobering glimpse into their future, flashing forward six months to March. This was shortly after Brittany had moved out of the home she shared with Jax and their 3-year-old son Cruz, with the former Vanderpump Rules stars confirming their separation.

“I didn’t see this coming, sorry,” Jax said tearfully in a confessional interview. “I never thought I would be in the position I’m in right now.”
