Andy Cohen Addresses ‘Melissa’s Old Nose’ Leaking DMS from Jennifer Aydin and Teresa Giudice!
Andy Cohen recently weighed in on the swirling rumors about leaks from the set of Real Housewives of New Jersey. During a conversation with Kiki Monique, the issue was brought to the forefront.
He delved into the leaks during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked with Kiki Monique.
“Jersey this season had an unprecedented amount of leaks,” Monique stated, voicing the concerns of many fans.
Monique further probed, “Do you think that sort of contributed to what fans were feeling as they were watching this season? Is production, Bravo, are they doing anything to sort of like prevent this?”
The discussion didn’t stop there. Monique also referenced the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, when a housewife had a troll account to attack the ladies, raising questions about whether Bravo has a broader issue with behind-the-scenes leaks across its franchises.
Following Melissa Gorga’s comments on the matter, the spotlight has now turned to Cohen for his perspective on the situation.
“Right. I hate leaks as you can imagine because it just, I mean that’s what was so fun about that Reality Von Tease thing. It was like no one knew about it and it was just so fun as a viewer, so I hope that we can get into a vibe of not leaking,” Andy said.
Some fans have suggested that Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin should take a break or quit the show, much like Monica Garcia did. Reflecting on the cast dynamics, Cohen added,
“I think that the cast on Jersey is so fed up with each other. There are teams of people against each other and I think you would probably agree that one of the things that didn’t work about the last season of [Real Housewives of Potomac] was that the group, it was kind of no coming together for this group.”
He continued, “It was like unheard of, so that’s our thing to solve for next season of Jersey and we can do it and we will figure it out, but in terms of the leaks, I hate leaks. I just think that there’s a supreme level of kind of distrust amongst the cast with each other and that’s never healthy in terms of trying to make a great television show.”
The issue of leaks has become a hot topic, especially with recent allegations suggesting that Jennifer and Teresa were involved in leaking stories to social media accounts, using these stories on camera to support their arguments against other cast members.
Page Six caught up with Melissa Gorga, who commented on the situation. “I just think there’s so much grossness out there with social media,” she said. “And what it looks like my sister-in-law and Jen [have] done is pretty embarrassing for them and pretty gross.”
The controversy gained traction when a Twitter user named Melissa’s Old Nose posted alleged conversations with Jennifer Aydin. “The letter posted was sent to me by Jennifer Aydin in Jan of 2023 for the purpose of exposing it online to further bolster the carefully constructed narrative against the Fuda family,” Melissa’s Old Nose tweeted.
She added that Real Housewives of New Jersey stars pressured her to post about it in August 2023 so the personalities could discuss it while filming Season 14.
Melissa Gorga, reflecting on the situation, expressed her dismay. “I’m just embarrassed for them at this point,” she concluded, without delving into further details.
