Porsha Williams Still Blocked from Filming ‘RHOA’ in Simon Guobadia’s House!
As filming for Season 16 of RHOA looms, legal battles between Porsha Williams and her ex-husband Simon Guobadia continue to escalate over the filming rights inside their shared mansion.
Legal documents obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal that she is still not able to film. The court has refrained from intervening in the filming dispute until the hearing over their prenuptial agreement.
“The parties raised the issue of whether the terms of the prenuptial agreement permits or prohibits filming/recording in the Marital Residence,” read the court order dated May 31.
The order clarified that neither party should rely on the court for enforcement until the issue has been officially heard and ruled upon.
Additionally, it reiterated Porsha’s “sole and exclusive use, control, and possession” of the marital home, with Simon requiring written consent for entry.
While Porsha has temporary sole use of the mansion, Simon remains responsible for various financial obligations, including mortgage payments, taxes, and utilities.
The ongoing legal battle stems from William’s divorce filing in February, just 15 months after their marriage. Disputes over their prenuptial agreement intensify, with Porsha seeking its enforcement while Guobadia argues for revision due to her changed financial circumstances.
Porsha recently filed an emergency order to allow filming of RHOA inside their marital residence, citing its importance for her income. However, the production company clarified that filming inside the property requires explicit permission, either by consent or court order, to avoid potential litigation.
In the ongoing saga between Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia, the estranged couple kept their internet feud alive with a fresh round of messages exchanged on Wednesday, May 29th.
Porsha, 42, kicked off the day with a cryptic Instagram post, leaving followers speculating with her message:
“Happy Wednesday! If a person concealed criminal past & provided fake identification for a green card is it still a valid green card in the US?!”
Shortly after, Simon, 59, retaliated on his own Instagram, referencing Porsha’s infamous TV moment where she claimed to have been dealing with something “265 days a year.”
Simon fired back, saying:
“Imma Need People Who Think There Are 265 Days In A Year Stay Out of Understanding Complex US Immigration Laws Above Your Mediocre Mind.”
The feud between the former couple stems from Porsha’s divorce filing after 15 months of marriage, with purported court documents suggesting allegations of deception regarding Simon’s reported criminal background and his denied US citizenship.
As tensions rise, Real Housewives of Atlanta continues filming amidst the ongoing legal drama.
