Jennifer Fessler Spills Tea on ‘RHONJ’ Drama: Cast Senses Major Changes Ahead!

Jennifer Fessler, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is staying tight-lipped about the much-discussed season 14 reunion but acknowledges a shift in the show’s dynamics.

“I am not privy to what goes on at Bravo and in the inner workings of the Bravo brains, but definitely, like every other person who’s a viewer, I think, things are changing,” Jenn exclusively told Us Weekly. “I’m very well aware of the fact that things in Jersey are changing, things are shifting. The how’s of it, the whens the whys? I don’t know.”

Jenn noted that “everyone is thinking about all the possibilities,” joking that “it’s become like a hobby.” She added, “I think anything is possible at this point.”

According to Fessler, the current state of affairs within the cast is untenable due to ongoing feuds. “Not like this certainly,” she said. “There’s no more fun. I felt so good last season about being in it and being funny and being silly and goofy and a mess, and there’s just not that much of it at least so far this season.”

When asked if filming the season 14 finale felt “final,” she responded, “Let’s hope so.” She clarified, “I mean, final in a way that the finale’s over, I would never want to relive that again.”

The season 14 finale is expected to mark the end of several relationships, as hinted by Jenn’s co-star Dolores Catania. Dolores exclusively told Us Weekly last month that the explosive opening of the season, featuring a heated confrontation at Rails Steakhouse, set the tone for an intense season.

The reunion for this year has been canceled, a decision confirmed by Bravo. Dolores commented on the situation, saying:

“It’s definitely closure for people, and you can’t come back from the stuff that you’re going to see at the finale. No coming back. I tried so hard to not get it to the point that it’s at, but because it got to this point, you have to say, ‘It’s so bad that it’s time to let things go.’”

The aftermath of the season 13 reunion left the cast divided, with loyalties split between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. Dolores revealed that any hope for reconciliation among the women dissipated after the Rails fight.

Melissa Gorga

“If there was a shadow of a doubt” about amends being possible, “that’s gone” following the confrontation, she said.

The longstanding family feud between Teresa and Melissa has intensified, with the sisters-in-law refusing to film together as season 14 progresses. Melissa expressed her frustration during her confessional in the season 14 premiere, saying, “I really don’t want to answer any questions about Teresa this year.”

Teresa Giudice

Jenn has found herself caught in the middle of the Giudice-Gorga feud, demonstrating her loyalty to Teresa. “Teresa is a good person,” she said during the May 12 episode.

“You can’t stop staring at Teresa because … you never know what’s coming. Yeah, I enjoy her. Maybe that makes me disloyal, but I can’t help it.”

As the drama continues to unfold, the dynamics among the RHONJ women remain uncertain.

RHONJ season 14 airs new episodes on Bravo Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.
