Tom Sandoval Offered Ariana Madix a $600K Buyout for Their $2M Mansion!
Despite their messy split, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix continued to live under the same roof, clashing over the division of their $2 million Los Angeles home. A recently deleted scene from Vanderpump Rules has given fans an inside look into the ongoing conflict.
In the scene, Sandoval, 41, disclosed to producers that he had offered Ariana, 38, a $600,000 cash buyout for the house. Reading an email he sent to Madix two months earlier, Tom stated, “I will give you $600,000 cash. Based on the math, this is a buyout that is equivalent to us selling the property for $3.1 million, which is way above Zillow and Redfin value and definitely above market value.”
He further explained the financial burden of refinancing the house without Ariana. “With refinancing this house and pulling her name off the loan, this goes from being a $10,000 a month payment to a $20,000+ a month payment,” Sandoval noted.
Tom’s assistant, Ann Maddox, was surprised by his offer. “And you can afford that?” she asked. “For six to eight months,” he replied, adding, “I got myself in this mess. I just wish we could go back.”
The couple, who were together for nearly a decade, split due to Sandoval’s infidelity, yet they continued to live together as they had not resolved the property division. Tom Sandoval had an affair with Ariana’s friend and ex-Vanderpump Rules castmate, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
Following the split, Madix purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills for $1.6 million. She also sued Tom in early January over their $2 million Valley Village home, which they co-own.
Sandoval expressed frustration over Ariana’s refusal of his offer. “Ariana is making it out to be that me wanting to keep the house is a psychopath move, but it’s not,” he said on Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast. He continued, “She’s like, ‘Oh, he gave me a s**t offer. I gave her an offer of $3.1 million. We bought our house for $2.05 [million]… I gave her an offer to buy her out.”
Tom further claimed that Madix, who had just begun her starring turn as Roxie Hart in “Chicago” on Broadway, “hasn’t paid a single bill for this house in eight months” and hasn’t lived there for “two or three months.”
“She’s being petty and she doesn’t want me to have the house,” he alleged. “That’s the petty [move]. ‘I am breaking up with you, and I don’t want anybody to have [it].'”
He concluded with a colorful analogy, “It’s [like] flipping over the Monopoly board. That’s it. It’s like, ‘I’m losing at Monopoly, so I’m going to flip the Monopoly board over.’ That’s what it is.”
Vanderpump Rules is on pause for season 12.
