Melissa Gorga, known for her role on Real Housewives of New Jersey, is doubling down on her dedication to fitness amidst discussions about weight loss medication within the cast.
During a recent appearance on “Sherri,” Gorga addressed her approach to staying fit, emphasizing that she opts out of taking Ozempic, a weight loss drug reportedly used by several of her co-stars.
“I work out really, really hard. To each their own for everything, but no, I don’t take it,” Gorga affirmed during her conversation with host Sherri Shepherd.
Acknowledging her co-stars’ choices, Gorga expressed happiness for those who find success with Ozempic, stating, “I’m happy they feel good, they look good.”
The discussion stemmed from Shepherd’s mention of Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs’ openness about using Ozempic for weight management. While Catania and Josephs have praised the medication for its effectiveness, not all cast members share their perspective.
Last year, Danielle Cabral criticized Ozempic users, accusing them of depriving those with diabetes of necessary medication. Additionally, Jackie Goldschneider and Teresa Giudice have both distanced themselves from Ozempic use, with Giudice facing speculation from fans despite her denial.
