Jax Taylor’s Restaurant Under Investigated for DISGUSTING Health Violations!
Amidst the tumult of their separation, former reality TV power couple Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright find themselves at the center of swirling controversies, with unsettling reports surfacing about their joint business ventures.
One such venture, Jax Studio City, launched with much fanfare in October with Brittany by Jax’s side. Yet, as is often the case with new restaurants, challenges have arisen. A complaint alleging Jax’s diaper-changing escapades at the bar sparked a Department of Public Health investigation. Although no such incident was witnessed during an April 16 inspection, the episode prompted a firm reminder from health inspectors about hygiene protocols.
In the days leading up to the investigation, a video surfaced on social media showing Jax and Brittany changing their three-year-old son Cruz’s diaper at the bar. The clip, shared by The Valley star Jasmine Goode, added fuel to the controversy surrounding Jax Studio City.
“While the investigation into this matter has been closed without punitive action,” a report stated, “a video surfaced showing Jax allegedly changing a diaper on the bar, posted by his The Valley co-star, Jasmine Goode, mere days before the inspection, sparking public outrage over sanitary concerns.”
While Jasmine Goode seemingly shared the video innocuously, captioning it “Adulting,” fans didn’t perceive it as such. Instead, they criticized Brittany and Jax for what they deemed unsanitary behavior.
The video quickly circulated both online and on social media platforms, intensifying the scrutiny surrounding the couple and their establishment.
But the diaper drama isn’t the only stain on the establishment’s reputation. Complaints have also surfaced regarding the preparation of Mamaw’s Beer Cheese, a Vanderpump Rules staple. Allegations ranged from off-site preparation to inadequate allergy information.
A December 2, 2023 complaint prompted a thorough investigation into the beer cheese saga. Inspectors discovered a lone container of beer cheese in the walk-in cooler, with an accompanying invoice, affirming its presence on-site. Despite lacking a formal recipe card, the manager insisted the cheese was prepared in-house, with base ingredients sourced from vendors like Amazon or Angie’s Wholesale.
Responsibility for crafting the beer cheese fell to the chef, who reportedly enhanced the spread with dry spices and beer. However, the inspector’s attempts to interview the chef were thwarted by their absence during the inspection.
Ultimately, the complaint was closed, providing some respite from the storm of controversies surrounding Jax Studio City. Yet, the restaurant’s journey is far from over, as it strives to regain public trust amidst ongoing scrutiny.
