In a shocking revelation on the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Jasmine Pineda has opened up about feeling entrapped in her relationship — citing Gino Palazzolo’s complete financial control as a major source of distress in her life.
In a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, tensions flared between Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo as they sparred over finances. Jasmine expressed her concerns to Gino about his lack of support, particularly regarding her desire to enter a beauty pageant.
“Why haven’t you paid the registration fee for the pageant?” Jasmine questioned, setting off a heated exchange about money between the couple, who quietly tied the knot back in June 2023.
In a confessional, Jasmine revealed her frustration, hoping that Gino’s oversight was not intentional. “I’m hoping that Gino forgot about paying for this pageant, and it wasn’t on purpose,” she shared, punctuating her thoughts with a colorful expletive directed at her husband.
Gino defended himself, citing the financial burden of the pageant entry fee along with immigration costs, which he claimed had “skyrocketed.” Jasmine, however, urged him to return to work, insisting that the financial strain was taking a toll on her.
“This money thing is stressing the heck out of me,” Jasmine confessed, prompting Gino to remind her that he had left his job upon her arrival in the U.S.
Refusing to accept excuses, Jasmine accused Gino of spending too much time on leisure activities like fantasy football, instead of focusing on their financial stability. “Don’t use me as an excuse,” she retorted, criticizing Gino for his alleged lack of productivity. “You left your job to be playing fantasy football. Fantasy football has ruined you,” she declared.
During a confessional, Jasmine expressed her disappointment to Gino, stating, “I was expecting to marry a provider, not to be married to a jobless man.” In response, Gino acknowledged feeling “a little more comfortable to go back to work” now that Jasmine is “getting on her feet” after her relocation.
Later, after Gino completed his workout, he insisted that Jasmine leave the gym with him, despite her desire to stay longer. Feeling constrained by his actions, Jasmine confessed in a separate confessional to feeling controlled by Gino.
“It is very frustrating because I completely depend on him for everything,” she lamented. “I cannot go anywhere without him because he’s the one who drives me. I rely on him financially. He hasn’t provided me, like, any credit card for basic stuff, so I cannot even buy tampons by myself.”
Accusing Gino of relishing control over her life, Jasmine revealed:
“He enjoys so much making decisions about every single detail in my life.” Expressing her discomfort with the situation, she admitted, “I believe that he’s trying to control me and that is so scary because I’ve never been in this vulnerable position, and I don’t like it. I’m not a submissive person.”
Later in the episode, Gino addressed his wife’s frustration, remarking, “I get that Jasmine’s frustrated about the pageant, but she’s always asking for things and she needs to understand that she can’t always get what she wants all the time. This is a partnership and we are a team.”
However, Jasmine had a different perspective. During her confessional, she expressed her belief that Gino was intentionally undermining her desires, stating, “I really think that Gino wants to sabotage the pageant to show that he can take away what I really want.” She went on to describe the situation as “humiliating,” likening Gino’s behavior to that of a “dictator.”
Reflecting on their relationship, Jasmine revealed:
“Gino used to be my safe person, the person that I trusted the most. But ever since we got married, a lot of things have changed. It’s very different. I would have never married this kind of Gino.”
