Brittany Cartwright isn’t holding back when it comes to sharing her feelings about her marriage to Jax Taylor, especially after he was seen spending time with model, Paige Woolen.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Sunday, May 26, Cartwright shared a video titled “Watching The Valley With Someone Who Is Shocked by Jax Taylor,” hinting at her own feelings toward her estranged husband’s actions on the Bravo show. Alongside the clip, Cartwright wrote, “Thank you, & just imagine what I’ve been through behind closed doors.”

The day prior, Taylor, 44, was captured enjoying lunch with Woolen, 32, in Los Angeles, both opting for casual all-black attire during their outing at the Granville Café. This public appearance comes following Cartwright and Taylor’s separation in February after five years of marriage. The couple shares a 3-year-old son, Cruz.

Speaking candidly about her relationship with Taylor on her “When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany” podcast, Cartwright revealed the tumultuous nature of their current dynamic. “Right now … I can’t even be in the same room with him very long,” she admitted, expressing frustration over Taylor’s alleged lack of respect for her boundaries during their separation.

While the couple navigates their personal struggles off-screen, fans witness the unraveling of their relationship on the Bravo show The Valley. In a recent episode, tensions reached a boiling point between Cartwright and Taylor during a cast trip, with Taylor publicly speculating about Cartwright’s drinking habits.

Reflecting on the episode, Cartwright explained, “Jax was just going in, like ‘I bet she’s drinking, I bet she’s drinking,’ and I wasn’t. All my friends were like, ‘No she’s not,’ and he was kinda putting me down in front of all of my friends.”

Despite their differences, Cartwright emphasized that coparenting their son remains their top priority. “We both are very respectful of that,” she affirmed. “That is always No. 1 and most important.”

In the midst of the ongoing drama, The Valley co-star Jasmine Goode finds herself puzzled by Jax Taylor’s recent rendezvous with model Paige Woolen following his split from Brittany Cartwright.

Expressing her sentiments exclusively to Us Weekly on Tuesday, May 28, Jasmine, 36, remarked, “I’m not surprised. [It’s] typical [for] something that Jax does.” She remained skeptical about the extent of Taylor’s involvement with Paige, casting doubt on the authenticity of the situation.

Speculating on Jax’s motives, Jasmine suggested that his actions might be driven by a desire to provoke Cartwright amid their separation. “I think he sees Brittany thriving and being happy and shining and that’s rubbing him the wrong way possibly,” she theorized. “I think he took that for granted and now he’s, like, scrambling.”

Despite the turbulence in their relationship, Jasmine commended Cartwright for her newfound confidence and resilience in the face of adversity. “I think Brittany, honestly, her being away from Jax has brought this confidence and fire in her,” she observed, noting Cartwright’s evident happiness and improved well-being.

Reflecting on a recent encounter with Cartwright, Jasmine recounted how she witnessed her friend’s dedication to personal growth and happiness. “She was working on her ‘fitness goal’ and ‘so happy’ in her Jax-free environment,” Jasmine shared, highlighting Cartwright’s positive outlook on life.

Amidst the upheaval, Jasmine confirmed that Taylor and Cartwright are successfully navigating the challenges of coparenting their toddler, affirming Taylor’s role as a devoted father.

However, Jasmine remains skeptical about the possibility of a reconciliation between Taylor and Cartwright. “I want all my friends to be happy, but at the same time it’s like if you’re happy away from each other, then maybe that’s a good thing,” she remarked, implying that perhaps separation is the best course for the couple.

As for Cartwright’s romantic life post-split, Jasmine remained tight-lipped, teasing, “I don’t know if I can spill that.” Nonetheless, she assured that Cartwright is “doing good,” hinting at a positive outlook for her friend’s future endeavors.
