Jennifer Fessler Believes Luis Ruelas Actually Called Margaret Josephs’ Son
Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey is already highlighting the shifting dynamics among the cast. Margaret Josephs, who was best friends with Jennifer Fessler, found herself at odds with Jennifer after a major fallout involving Teresa Giudice and her new husband, Luis Ruelas.
During the Season 13 reunion, Margaret accused Luis of investigating her and making threatening calls to her son, who has stayed away from the RHONJ spotlight. Luis denied any involvement, but the incident led Margaret to sever ties with both Teresa and Luis.
Tensions escalated when Jennifer chose to spend time with Teresa, which didn’t sit well with Margaret. According to Margaret, Jenn had previously said, “I want nothing to do with her,” referring to Teresa. This made Jennifer’s decision to hang out with Teresa particularly upsetting. The situation came to a head at Joe Gorga’s birthday party, resulting in a major argument between the friends.
Jennifer later explained to Entertainment Tonight, “I think the first episode, maybe you saw me saying to Margaret, you know, ‘I told you that if you don’t want to be around these people again, neither will I…’ and what I meant by that was, if you’re not gonna go back and do the show again, then I’m not going to go back and do the show again. I didn’t say I would never be around Louie, or talk to Louie and Teresa again.”
During a conversation with Teresa, Jennifer addressed allegations that John Fuda, another co-star, was a drug dealer. Jennifer clarified,
“My intentions were to clarify some things, right? To talk to Teresa and make sure that it was out there that John Fuda is not a drug dealer, John Fuda is a fabulous father and a professional and responsible.”
Despite her intentions, Rachel Fuda and John were unhappy with Jennifer discussing them at all. “So, I was actually sort of happy with that part of our conversation, even though Rachel [Fuda] and John would have preferred that I didn’t speak of them at all,” Jennifer said.
Jennifer also confronted Teresa about whether Luis had called Margaret’s son. Teresa swore on the lives of her four daughters that Luis hadn’t. Jennifer admitted,
“I probably didn’t communicate this well, because I think that I’ve given the impression that I don’t believe Margaret, which is not the case. I do believe Margaret. The truth is, I do believe that Louie did call Margaret’s son.”
Despite the drama, Margaret and Jennifer’s friendship was good. Jennifer mentioned that their bond is “deep,” indicating that their connection could withstand the tumultuous events of the season.
