Melissa Gorga Hasn’t Contacted Milania Giudice After She Crashed Her Car
Tensions on The Real Housewives of New Jersey are soaring to new heights. Melissa Gorga recently revealed she has no plans to contact her niece, Milania Giudice, following Milania’s car crash. Despite their fractured relationship, Melissa expressed relief that Milania wasn’t injured.
“I’m so happy she’s OK,” Melissa told Extra. However, she made it clear that certain events have created rifts that are difficult to mend. “Right now, no one is on talking terms with anyone because of the things that have happened,” she said. “Certain things have happened that are just really hard to come back from,” she added, explaining the family’s ongoing separation.
The strife between Melissa and Teresa Giudice, along with Joe Gorga, escalated after the Season 13 reunion, where they vowed never to engage with each other again. This fallout has carried over into Season 14, which still features both families. However, they did not interact during the filming, causing other cast members to feel like they were part of two separate shows.
Last summer, Melissa and Joe Gorga skipped Teresa’s wedding to Luis Ruelas, following a tumultuous season. Joe Gorga expressed his pain over the family discord. “I’m just shocked at the way I’m treated by my own family, my blood,” he said in 2023. “That’s what kills me. Every day, you have to live a life like that.”
Despite the unconventional filming situation this year, Melissa believes the cast managed to make it work. “We’ve navigated through that really well, I think, this season,” she said. “We’re doing what we can as a team. Unfortunately, it is a group, and it is a team, and you need to be some type of team player to be on the team.”
