Summer House Season 8 continues to be a hot topic, especially regarding the ongoing drama between Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke. The show has been shedding light on their breakup.
Recently, the former couple has been clashing over Carl’s career decisions. Carl was frustrated with Lindsay’s reaction to his choice to rejoin Kyle Cooke’s company, feeling she wasn’t supportive enough. Lindsay, on the other hand, believed she was just asking pertinent questions.
Carl, in a conversation seeking validation from Kyle, revealed the disparity in their influencer earnings, noting that Lindsay made significantly more than him. He claimed to have earned $70,000 from brand deals, while stating that Lindsay made $150,000 for similar work.
On the May 21 episode of the Bitch Bible podcast, Lindsay called Carl out for sharing their financial details and corrected his inflated figures. “When I saw that conversation play out, I was like, first of all, that is not true. He did not make $70,000,” she said. She also mentioned that one of Carl’s major deals was managed by her.
“I was the one who created the whole vision. I was the one that negotiated the whole thing, put the reel together, edited the reel, and guided the whole thing. And then I just basically asked him to be a collaborator,” Lindsay explained.
Lindsay was shocked that Carl disclosed their earnings and implied she made more because she is a woman. She found his comment “gross” and challenged his perspective.
In a recent episode of Summer House, Carl remarked that he doesn’t earn as much because, “I’m not a woman and I don’t have as many followers.” Lindsay responded,
“It’s like, okay, well, do you know how many male-dominated jobs there are in this world that women have had to fight to compete for? … Just let us have this one!” She added, “He’s like, ‘Well, she makes more ’cause she’s a woman…’ no, I make more because I’m driven and go out there and push to make more.”
