Lisa Barlow’s Son Jack Barlow Returns Home to the States
Jack Barlow made the bold decision to embark on a two-year Mormon mission, surprising his mother, Lisa Barlow. This significant moment was captured on Season 4 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, as Lisa initially hoped her elder son would attend college.
Eventually, Lisa came to terms with Jack’s choice and supported him wholeheartedly. She even hosted an RHOSLC-themed party where Jack learned he would be serving his mission in Colombia.
Now, ten months into his mission, Jack is back home for a visit. On May 16, Lisa celebrated her son’s return with a heartfelt post and a family photo shoot.
“A necessary trip and amazing timing,” Lisa captioned the photos, which included herself, Jack, John Barlow, and their younger son, Henry.
“Love seeing my Jack so we could make sure the next 14 months in Colombia he would be completely well. I love seeing his maturity, hearing him speak Spanish and his love of service and the people of Colombia,” the Vida Tequila founder expressed. She also highlighted the strong bond between her sons, noting that their dog Kendle was also thrilled to see Jack.
“Jack and Henry are besties—I love seeing them back together even though it’s short-lived and we love our baby Kendle,” the RHOSLC star added.
Lisa also issued a warning to potential online trolls, emphasizing the challenges of being in the spotlight and Jack’s notable decision to join the Mormon mission.
“If anyone comes for MY kids I promise you’ll regret it,” she asserted.
Jack appears healthy following a hospital stay in Colombia five months ago during his mission. At the time, Lisa updated fans on Twitter about his condition. Thankfully, his hospitalization was brief.
“I miss Jack every day — he has been in the hospital for 3 days and it’s killing me not being there,” she shared. “He will be [OK]… They are figuring it out.”
