Rachel Leviss Has Shift in Feelings Towards Lala Kent Despite Initial Distrust Over Voice Note

Rachel “Raquel” Leviss has opened up about her evolving feelings towards Lala Kent and the current dynamics of their relationship, as well as addressing claims made by Tom Sandoval regarding the early days of their affair.

On her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, Rachel discussed a voice memo from Lala Kent that initially raised suspicions. “My feelings toward Lala have changed a little bit since we first started recording this podcast and since the moment I got that voice memo from her,” she revealed. She initially believed Lala’s motive was to persuade her to return to Vanderpump Rules, but her perspective shifted after seeing episodes where Lala connected with her over shared experiences in “abusive narcissistic relationships.” Rachel noted,

“There’s like a common thread there. I think she really does get it because she’s experienced it firsthand, and it’s validating in a way to have that representation on Vanderpump Rules when I’m not there … You can tell that she’s pretty supportive, which is a good feeling.”

Although Rachel stated she does not currently have a “relationship” with Lala and they are not in communication, she expressed no “hard feelings against her” and is open to the possibility of a “constructive conversation to move forward,” though she remains uncertain about them becoming friends.

Addressing Tom Sandoval’s claim during a reunion, Rachel acknowledged that she did jump into his pool early in their relationship, albeit not completely unclothed. “That may be true, although I didn’t take off all of my clothes,” she clarified. She disputed Tom’s portrayal of their interactions, emphasizing the significance of his attention during a vulnerable time. “There was intention behind the way Tom really gave me undivided attention to want to know my situation and what was happening in my reality. Things were a little bit blurry, and it was a gradual thing that took place where I started feeling more attracted to him.”

Rachel denied that Tom “groomed” her to be “his victim” but acknowledged the manipulative nature of his actions, particularly given their age difference and her vulnerable state. Moreover, she critiqued the environment of Vanderpump Rules, suggesting it had conditioned her acceptance of certain behaviors. “He also is aware of my situation and knew that I was very vulnerable. And come on, Tom is a manipulative person,” she said. Rachel added, “But there is a big age gap.” She concluded by accusing the show of grooming her to tolerate such behaviors, which were “normalized” due to frequent depictions of infidelity among cast members, impacting her decision-making.
