‘RHONJ’ RECAP: Rachel Fuda and Margaret Josephs Suffer Tantrums After Jenn Fessler Refused to Join Their War Against Teresa Giudice!

The May 19th episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey featured a heated moment, as Jennifer Fessler, Rachel Fuda, and Margaret Josephs came together for a dramatic sit-down. The intense discussion was fueled by Margaret and Rachel’s frustration over Jenn Fessler’s close interaction with Teresa Giudice at Danielle Cabral’s party for her husband, Nate, in episode two. Both Margaret and Rachel were visibly shook — feeling that Jenn’s friendliness with Teresa had crossed a line, leading to a intense exchange that captured the attention of viewers.

In episode 3 of Season 14, Rachel discovered through Margaret that Joe Gorga had reached out to Bill Aydin, inviting him to the party, only to be declined because of the ongoing tension between Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin. Adding to the web of discord, Rachel found herself perplexed by Jenn Fessler’s actions. Despite Rachel welcoming Jenn into her inner circle, she couldn’t grasp why Jenn was choosing to engage in battles on her behalf.

Meanwhile, Margaret was eager to confront Jenn about her private conversation with Teresa at Nate’s party, where the two were seen laughing together, much to Margaret’s displeasure. Feeling uneasy about their interaction, Margaret expressed a desire to have a conversation with Jenn to clear the air and understand the reasons behind their secretive camaraderie.

At Joe Gorga’s Italian themed birthday party, the air quickly filled with tension as Marge, Jenn, and Rachel dove straight into a heated discussion about Jenn being friendly with Teresa. Margaret, ever the instigator, opened with, “I’m dying to hear about your chit chat,” with Teresa, setting the tone for what was to come. Jenn found herself on the defensive, explaining that Teresa was upset over rumors that Jenn had been discussing the reunion plans.

Margaret and Rachel were quick to dismiss the idea that Jenn owed Teresa any explanation, not buying into the drama. However, the conversation took a sharp turn when Jenn denied speaking “poorly about Louie incessantly,” a claim that only stirred the pot further.

Suddenly, Jackie Goldschneider entered the fray, questioning why Margaret was so heated over Teresa’s husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, escalating tensions even more. 

“You’re coming at me right now really hard. I’m not gonna handle things the way you handle things.” Jenn explains to Margaret. 

As voices raised, Rachel reminded Jenn of her supposed loyalty, only to be met with Jenn’s retort:

“I ain’t your solider!!!” Which clearly shocked both Rachel and Margaret. Jenn’s follow-up, “I will handle my shot, my way. I got you, but I’m not gonna be you. I’m not gonna do what you want me to do and say it the way you want me to say it,” which left Rachel visibly stunned.

An emotional Rachel expressed her confusion and hurt over Jenn’s willingness to befriend someone who seemed intent on harming her family.

The confrontation peaked when Margaret, feeling betrayed, admonished Jenn, “It’s weird [that you’re choosing to be friends with Teresa] because you knew us first and you f*cking just met this girl,” yet Jenn stood firm on her stance as a faithful friend.

The aftermath of the clash saw Margaret and Rachel debriefing with Danielle Cabral, who listened intently as Rachel lamented the strain on her friendship with Jenn, who had grown uncomfortably close to Teresa. Danielle, who is also friends with Teresa, seemed to understand the delicate balance but noted Jenn’s apparent lack of loyalty towards Rachel.

The drama didn’t end there. Jenn abruptly left the party, which was noteworthy as she was supposed to stay at Rachel’s house that evening, hinting at an awkward situation yet to unfold. Amid the drama, the Gorgas carried on with their party like nothing was going on — they had a family photo shoot and sang a birthday song for Joe.

Also in the episode, during the group’s weekend getaway at the Jersey Shore, unexpected changes ripple through the friendships. Bill Aydin uncomfortably declines a birthday party invitation from Joe Gorga, exacerbating the already strained relationship between Jennifer Aydin and Melissa. Meanwhile, Teresa and Louie share an emotional farewell with Gabriella Giudice, as she prepares to head off to the University of Michigan, to start her college journey.
