Teen Mom star Catelynn Baltierra faced a heartbreaking setback when she was denied visitation rights to the daughter she gave up for adoption, reportedly due to the controversial content on her husband Tyler’s raunchy OnlyFans account.

Catelynn Baltierra, 32, recently shared a heartfelt birthday message for her eldest daughter, Carly, who turned 15. Catelynn and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, have been denied visitation by Carly’s adoptive parents, adding a layer of poignancy to the occasion.

In her message, Catelynn posted a black and white photograph on social media showing herself, Tyler, 32, and their daughters walking alongside Carly. Accompanying the image, she expressed her sentiments, writing, “Today is Carly’s 15th birthday! I wonder what kind of day she’ll have and what she’ll do. I wish things were different so we could celebrate with her. I hope she feels our love and has a great day!” 

Catelynn recently shared her hopes for future reunions with her eldest daughter, Carly, who was adopted by Brandon and Teresa. In a touching message on social media, Catelynn expressed her optimism about celebrating together one day, highlighting the complex relationship dynamics due to the adoption.

Catelynn noted her anticipation, stating, “I look forward to knowing that one day we will be lucky enough to celebrate with her and her adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa. I can’t wait for that day!” She concluded her post with a note of gratitude for her family, sharing, “@tylerbaltierramtv we are soooo blessed to have our girls!!” 

Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra have faced challenges in maintaining a connection with their eldest daughter, Carly, whom they placed for adoption in 2009. Over the years, the couple has had regular visitations with Carly, but this year, they encountered difficulties in arranging a meeting.

On May 9, Catelynn shared her frustrations and the complexities of adoption on her Instagram Stories. She expressed her feelings about being at the mercy of the adoptive parents’ decisions, despite the couple’s willingness to accommodate. Catelynn wrote, “Adoption is wild … Being at the mercy of someone that can say no … (I know I chose this no need to tell me!) I will never understand how you say you can ‘love’ us and will always be blessed for ‘us’ … BUT you can’t take TWO days out of your entire year to just meet up for dinner and do a park or something small? ESPECIALLY when we said we would travel to YALL?!”

Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra, who share three other daughters — Novalee, 9, Vaeda, 5, and Rya, 2 — have faced numerous challenges in their relationship with Brandon and Teresa, the adoptive parents of their eldest daughter, Carly. During this episode, fans witnessed the adoptive parents deny Tyler’s request to post photos of Carly on social media.

Teresa, Carly’s adoptive mother, articulated the delicate balance of their open adoption agreement during the episode. She explained, “We have a platform to speak on adoption from an adoptive parent perspective that nobody else has.
