Crystal Kung Minkoff Shades Dorit and PK Kemsley’s Split

Bravo fans are speculating that Crystal Kung Minkoff subtly shaded her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Dorit Kemsley, following the announcement of Dorit’s separation from Paul “PK” Kemsley.

The day after the Kemsleys disclosed their separation, Crystal posted on Instagram to commemorate the anniversary of meeting her husband, Rob Minkoff, 21 years ago.

“We met 21 years ago today. And for 21 years, we have made our family our priority. ” Crystal wrote, alongside throwback photos of the couple preparing for a helicopter ride to the Tien Shan glacier in Kazakhstan. She included the hashtag “ChooseWisely,” which some fans interpreted as a dig at the Kemsleys. Comments such as “not Crystal being shady” “Crystal had time to be shady today,” and “I just busted out laughing,” filled her post, highlighting the perceived timing and intent of her message.

PK and Dorit, who were married for nine years, stated in a joint statement,

“We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together… To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”

Earlier incidents suggest this isn’t the first time Crystal has seemingly targeted Dorit and PK’s marriage. In January, she posted marriage tips on social media, with a notable jab:

“Buy, don’t borrow diamond necklaces for your wife,” referencing an incident where PK surprised Dorit with a borrowed $5 million diamond necklace.

The tension between the former co-stars escalated previously when Dorit referred to Crystal as a “child bride” in a RHOBH confessional, criticizing her for marrying young while others were pursuing education and careers. “You’re nowhere near more educated than the rest of us,” Dorit remarked. “And by the way, child bride, while you were busy getting married at 12, the rest of us were building businesses, graduating college, doing things — you know — to educate ourselves.” Crystal married Rob Minkoff in September 2007; she was 24 and he was 45 at the time.
