‘RHOBH’ Fans Remind Annemarie Wiley About Her Husband’s Rape Allegations After She Revealed Gossiping With One of Crystal Minkoff’s “14 Friends”
‘RHOBH’ Fans Remind Annemarie Wiley About Her Husband’s Rape Allegations After She Revealed Gossiping With One of Crystal Minkoff’s “14 Friends”
Annemarie Wiley shared her encounter with another individual from Crystal Kung Minkoff’s former friend group, which reportedly cut ties with Crystal, suggesting serious fallout. On X, Annemarie posted on May 10, hinting at the severity of the situation.
“I met another one of the ’14 friends’ that dropped her tonight. Whew! What she did to them was pure evil.” She elaborated on the alleged actions of Crystal, indicating a pattern of deceitful behavior.
“When you live your life lying and trying to ruin other people’s lives, it will all eventually catch up to you,” she wrote. “You can’t avoid karma.”
Continuing her thoughts, Annemarie advised, “Live accordingly, friends.” In a previous interview with Hollywood Life, she expressed her sense of betrayal by Crystal, explaining, “I really trusted [Crystal] a lot more than I should have. I was warned by several people about the kind of person she is — that she flip flops, that she lies, she fabricates things.”
RHOBH fans criticized Annemarie for meeting with one of Crystal’s 14 friends, pointing out her husband’s sexual assault allegations in response. One person wrote, “What about your husbands rape allegations? Girl move on.”
Another fan account responded with, “What your husband has allegedly done is pure evil. And now it’s catching up to him. Your husband can’t avoid karma. Live accordingly.”
Someone else wrote, “but didn’t your husband r word someone?!?”
Another person wrote, “You’re giving bunny boiler! That girl hasn’t even mentioned you post reunion. None of them have. That’s how “relevant” you were.”
A fourth person shared, “Girl. Your time to shine is OVER. Go! Quietly please.”
Annemarie also criticized Crystal’s motivations on the show,
“We all know, she [Crystal] needed to step it up this year. She needed something to talk about, so she made [things] up so that she could start drama with me, and then bingo — she’s got a storyline.”
In a July 2022 interview with ET, Crystal Kung Minkoff reflected on her experiences during the first half of the season of Real Housewives, where she felt validated by the episodes that had aired. She addressed the controversy around her losing “14 friends,” clarifying that the number was exaggerated and the actual figure was closer to three.
Crystal revealed that the fallout was related to her joining Housewives, a detail she had openly shared with her castmates, which inadvertently broke the fourth wall of the show.
She explained, “I’m the one that told the story to them! It was actually about the show. That’s why it doesn’t go on [air], because it’s breaking fourth wall, but I was like, ‘You guys! You guys told me this would have happened when you guys would have got the show…'” Crystal mentioned that the supposed friends were likely jealous of her landing a spot on the show, suggesting that they too might have been interested in joining.
Crystal also discussed her approach to personal achievements and the reactions they provoked, particularly with her business ventures like her coconut water company and its success in Costco.
“People… sometimes people don’t want you to sort of walk out of the bubble they’re used to,” she said, indicating that her openness about these successes sparked the issues.
Despite the backlash from some friends, Crystal maintained her transparent nature, emphasizing, “When I saw it, my friends were like, ‘I can’t believe you told them!’ I’m just, like, an open book. I can’t spend my life worrying if someone’s going to say something, because it’s the truth and I’m just going to say it.”
Neither Crystal nor Annemarie were invited back for the next season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
