Simon Guobadia SHUTS DOWN ‘RHOA’ Filming … Porsha Williams Ex LEGALLY BLOCKS Production!
The latest season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has taken a dramatic turn, plunging into chaos with Porsha Williams estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, at the center of the storm.
According to sources close to production, MediaTakeOut has reported that the current season of Bravo’s highly-rated show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has been abruptly halted “indefinitely.”
Here’s the latest scoop: Bravo has been busy filming for the past two months, with much of the action centered around Porsha Williams’ Atlanta mansion. However, things took a dramatic turn recently when Simon Guobadia filed a lawsuit against Bravo and the production company True Entertainment. In his lawsuit, Simon claims sole ownership of Porsha’s mansion and refuses to grant Bravo the rights to film on his property.
Amid their bitter divorce proceedings, Simon and Porsha find themselves embroiled in a legal battle over ownership of their luxurious Buckhead mansion. With both parties laying claim to the property, the uncertainty surrounding the ownership status leaves Bravo in a precarious position regarding the footage filmed on the premises. Until the divorce is settled and ownership of the mansion is determined, the fate of the footage remains uncertain.
Bravo’s top executives are facing a difficult decision in light of the legal turmoil surrounding Porsha and Simon’s mansion. With the ownership dispute casting uncertainty over the footage filmed thus far, the network is left with no choice but to consider discarding all existing footage and reshooting the scenes – unless Porsha and Simon can reach a resolution.
However, Simon’s stance indicates that he’s not inclined to make things easy for his ex-wife, further complicating the situation. An insider revealed, “It’s a whole mess. If Porsha can’t get Simon to agree, Bravo will have to reshoot everything, which will cost millions. They paused production in hopes that [Porsha] and Simon can work things out.”
As reported, Porsha has leveled serious allegations against Simon, accusing him of legal harassment as she makes her comeback to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Simon escalated the legal battle by demanding access to all communications between Porsha and producers, along with her contract and financial details, as she gears up for her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In response, Porsha has accused Simon of attempting to “overburden, annoy, harass, and oppress” her amidst their acrimonious divorce proceedings.
Porsha is taking a stand against Simon’s demands by petitioning the judge overseeing the case to reject his requests. She argues that their prenuptial agreement is irrelevant to her role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Porsha contends that Simon’s efforts to obtain this information are intended to “threaten her reputation, career, and ability to earn income.”
Last month, Simon demanded that the production company behind the reality show hand over footage slated for the upcoming season, along with a copy of his ex’s contract. Simon also asked a court to compel a True Entertainment rep to sit for a deposition in Georgia, next month.
Court documents revealed that Simon requested that a production rep appear for a videotaped deposition, on May 20. He asked that the individual be prepared to answer questions about Porsha’s status on the RHOA cast between the years 2022-2025.
