Mauricio Umansky has moved out of the marital home, following revelations that Kyle Richards made a mockery of their long-standing marriage on TV.

Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio Umansky have officially started not living together amid their ongoing divorce proceedings. 

According to Us Weekly, the couple, who have been living apart for several months, have adapted to their new lifestyle with Mauricio Umansky moving into a luxury condo in a prestigious West Hollywood development. “Kyle and Mauricio have been living separately for the last few months and he’s been staying there,” the source shared with Us Weekly. “They’ve both been traveling a lot recently, so it’s working out where they don’t stay under one roof.”

Although they are not residing together full-time, Mauricio maintains a presence at their primary home, particularly when Kyle is away. “He will visit their primary residence often when Richards, 55, is out of town,” the source added.

Adding a touch of celebrity allure to Umansky’s new address, a second insider confirmed to Us Weekly that actor Matt Damon owns an $8.6 million unit in the same West Hollywood complex.

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have decided to live separately after 27 years of marriage, a situation first reported by Us Weekly in July 2023. Although they have not filed for divorce, the possibility appears to be off the table for now due to complex financial considerations. “They both agreed it’s too messy financially as Kyle has a huge stake in The Agency,” an insider explained, referring to Umansky’s high-profile real estate company, which is also the focus of Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills.

The 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills highlighted the complexities of Kyle and Mauricio’s relationship, culminating in the revelation of their separation during the season finale. Richards, during a confessional in the February episode, hinted at issues of trust that she felt were irreparable, though specifics were not disclosed.

At the RHOBH reunion, Kyle Richards firmly stated her decision to keep the detailed reasons for their separation private, despite probing by host Andy Cohen. “It’s nobody’s f—king business,” she declared. She acknowledged that ongoing issues in their marriage were never fully addressed. “With any marriage, there’s issues that you have. They come up. You get busy, you’ve got kids,” Richards noted, adding that “some of the issues never went away” and “were never worked on.”

Kyle also shared her emotional struggle with the situation. “Something, like I said in my interview, happened where I did lose my trust,” she continued, signaling a deep personal crisis that ultimately led to their separation. “I care about my family first and I tried. I really did try. So then, when I couldn’t, the kind of things — I don’t want to say putting up with — just became more apparent to me, I guess. I guess I couldn’t do that anymore, and I finally had a breaking point,” she concluded, emphasizing the personal toll the situation had taken.

Recently, Kyle Richards shared a glimpse of her family’s time at the Stagecoach music festival through her Instagram Story on Sunday, April 28. Despite the public knowledge of her separation from Mauricio Umansky, the couple appeared together with their daughters in a series of photos and videos, enjoying the festival’s lively atmosphere.

In one of the photos, originally posted by Kyle’s daughter Farrah on her Instagram Story, Kyle, Mauricio, and their daughters are seen arm in arm, smiling as they watch a performance. Another image from Kyle’s own story captures her looking seriously at the camera while Farrah, Sophia, and Melissa Platt, a colleague from The Agency, playfully make kissy faces in the background.

The family’s enjoyment didn’t stop at posing for pictures. A video posted on another daughter’s Instagram Story, shows Mauricio dancing energetically with Alexia, twirling her around as both sport huge smiles, clearly enjoying the moment together.
