Former Vanderpump Rules star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss  is dating businessman Matthew Dunn. This comes over a year after her widely publicized affair with ex-costar Tom Sandoval came to light.

Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29, is exploring a new relationship with businessman Matthew Dunn, though they are not rushing into any serious commitments. “It’s a little too soon to jump to any labels,” Rachel’s publicist told PEOPLE.

“They met a little over a month ago and are friends just getting to know each other. They met and are hanging out.”

Rachel recently shared a social media clip of herself and Dunn enjoying an ATV ride, hinting at their growing connection with the caption: “More of this, please, 🫶🏼🌵✨.”

This budding friendship follows a period of self-reflection for Rachel after her controversial affair with Tom Sandoval, known as “Scandoval,” was popular. Earlier this year on her podcast “Rachel Goes Rogue,” she disclosed her decision to focus on personal growth rather than dating:

“I’m not dating for a year, and in doing that, I’m just focusing on myself and after this talk, focusing on my emotions that come up for me, like what are my own needs that I need met, and not adding an additional person into the equation.”

In a recent discussion with the outlet, Rachel emphasized the importance of self-care following the intense public scrutiny she faced. Reflecting on the tumultuous period, she stated, “It was a very difficult time for me… I’m just so happy that I’m able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and finally reintegrate into the real world.”

Rachel also expressed pride in her journey towards healing, underscoring her commitment to prioritizing her mental health and well-being.

Matthew Dunn’s connection with Rachel Leviss came to light after Taste of Reality disclosed his identity on April 29. The revelation followed a group photo that Matthew shared on April 15, featuring Rachel among others, where he expressed gratitude to friends for creating memorable “connections.” His post reminisced about their adventure: “We rode over the mountains and through the woods but grandma’s house could not be found. However, we did rally the side by sides and swam at a waterfall!”

Rachel responded to this post, commenting, “What an incredible experience,” to which Matthew replied, “so much fun,” accompanied by a kissing emoji. Further indicating their closeness, Matthew also posted a photo with Rachel on his Facebook page and set it as his profile picture. However, following the coverage by Taste of Reality, both of his accounts were seemingly deleted.

Tom Sandoval

Matthew Dunn has a diverse business background and a personal life that includes a young daughter named Denny. Previously, he managed a car dealership in Spokane, Washington. His business acumen was highlighted in a May 2022 Instagram post by a happiness and wellness page, which described him as a “[seven]-figure business owner” who has successfully maintained this status for [eight] consecutive years and is now working towards building an [eight]-figure company.

The Instagram page shared insights into Matthew’s approach to success and personal development: “He’s managed this for [eight] consecutive years and is on the way to building an [eight]-figure company. He is passionate about helping others find personal power through awareness, total ownership, and truth.”

In a video, Matthew offered a “quick tip” for achieving more in life: “If you wanna do more, be more, achieve more, focus on activity over outcomes,” he advised. “And it’s not so much as adding in new activities as it is removing the activity. A lot of you, as great and as talented as you are, have some activity and some behavior in your life that is catastrophically impacting you in a very bad way. The most successful people in the world have figured out how to do less of what you are doing. Think on that.”

Furthermore, the page shared Matthew’s guiding principle, “If you gain enough clarity, you can set yourself free.”

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
