Andy Cohen DENIES He’s The Reason BravoCon Was Canceled … Fans Don’t Believe Him!
Andy Cohen recently responded to speculations that his legal troubles were the reason behind the cancellation of BravoCon, clarifying the situation surrounding the event’s postponement.
“The decision to move BravoCon to 2025 was made to ensure we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans,” Cohen explained. He also commented on Sonja Morgan’s decision to list her renowned Upper East Side townhouse for sale, stating, “It’s the end of an era, but Sonja is ready for a new chapter.”
Last month, the network announced that instead of holding BravoCon this year, it would be rescheduled to a later date in 2025.
Andy Cohen addressed rumors on his SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live show, refuting claims made by In Touch that he was responsible for the cancellation of BravoCon.
“I read over the weekend that In Touch is blaming me for BravoCon getting canceled,” Cohen said. “I mean, who did I piss off at In Touch? They’re really on me. This is the most I’ve thought about In Touch in a very long time.”
He elaborated on the decision to postpone the event, noting that logistical issues with the venue’s availability led to the rescheduling.
“The decision [to pause the conference] was made long ago because [with] the availabilities for the location that we wanted to be … it would have been that we would have had to have it in, I think, September of this year or something like that,” Andy explained. “It felt way too soon. So I’m glad.”
Cohen also revealed his preference for spacing out the event. “Last year after BravoCon, I remember — and I don’t choose when BravoCon is — but I remember saying to the powers that be at Bravo, I hope we’re skipping a year,” he shared.

Despite Andy Cohen’s rebuttal, numerous fans continue to support In Touch’s assertion that he played a role in the cancellation of BravoCon, the popular 3-day gathering that unites Bravoholics and Bravolebrities in a celebration of their fandom.
One fan commented, “I definitely think Andy has something to do with BravoCon being cancelled. With all these lawsuits, it’s not a good look!”
Another stated, “Isn’t it too coincidental that all these legal issues are popping up and suddenly BravoCon is off? Andy’s at the center of it all.”
Someone else pointed out, “I feel like where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Andy’s legal troubles must be affecting more than we know. BravoCon is just the tip of the iceberg.”
One person noted, “All these lawsuits around Bravo, and now BravoCon gets cancelled? Andy needs to step up and clarify his role in all of this.”
Another stated, “Honestly, it’s hard not to blame Andy. He’s the face of the network, and these legal problems seem to be impacting major events!”
Someone said, “I love Andy, but if he’s causing Bravo these issues, then it’s no surprise BravoCon got the axe. He needs to sort it out!”
Another person highlighted, “The timing of BravoCon’s cancellation with Andy’s legal drama? Too suspicious. He’s definitely got a role in this mess.”
Also during his SiriusXM radio broadcast, Cohen responded to fans’ suggestions regarding Sonja Morgan’s Upper East Side townhouse, which has recently been listed for sale. “Sonja’s Townhouse has gone on the market. I’ve gotten so many queries from people wanting Bravo to buy it and turn it into a museum. I think it’s a real fixer-upper,” he commented. He also considered the financial aspects of the sale:
“If she gets $10 million for it, which is what it’s on the market for, even if she gets eight or nine, she can get … a nice place for that. She’ll be set.”
The report concluded with details of the townhouse’s market status, noting that it is listed for $7.5 million and will be auctioned from May 15 to May 29, with starting bids expected to range from $1.75 million to $3.75 million.
