Simon Guobadia GOING AFTER Porsha Williams’ ‘RHOA’ Paycheck As Divorce Turns Ugly!
Simon Guobadia GOING AFTER Porsha Williams’ ‘RHOA’ Paycheck As Divorce Turns Ugly!
Porsha Williams has accused her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, of legally harassing her amid her return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Simon has demanded all communications between the returning Bravo star and producers, as well as her contract and all financial details. Porsha has accused Simon of trying to “overburden, annoy, harass, and oppress” her amid their contentious divorce.
Porsha is asking the judge overseeing the case to overrule Simon’s demands, arguing that their prenuptial agreement is unrelated to her position on RHOA. She alleged that Simon’s attempted information grab is designed to “threaten her reputation, career, and ability to earn income.”
Earlier this month, Simon demanded that the production company behind the reality show hand over footage slated for the upcoming season, along with a copy of his ex’s contract. Simon also asked a court to compel a True Entertainment rep to sit for a deposition in Georgia, next month.
Court documents revealed that Simon requested that a production rep appear for a videotaped deposition, on May 20. He asked that the individual be prepared to answer questions about Porsha’s status on the RHOA cast between the years 2022-2025.
Simon stated that he also wanted all communications between Porsha and producers during the same timeframe, pertaining to her return to the Bravo series.
Simon demanded all messages regarding the pair’s divorce, prenuptial agreement, filming demands related to the marital home, and storylines for the upcoming season.
Simon’s attorney requested that producers hand over copies of “any and all photographs, videos, recordings, tapings, footage, or filming of the property since February 22, 2024, to now.”
Porsha fired back, claiming that Simon’s subpoena requests were not “issued in good faith.” She alleged that her soon-to-be ex wanted to “inflame this already contentious case.”
Court documents stated — “The Subpoena broadly requests contracts, amendments, memos of understanding, financial documents, all communications, photographs, videos, recordings, tapings, footage to filming, none of which is relevant to do with divorce, or at least no basis has been shown thus far why such an invasive inquiry into would be appropriate or reasonable.”
Porsha pointed out that all information regarding her employment and income is “not relevant” in their divorce case. She claimed that Simon was trying to stall the enforcement of the prenup.
Porsha stated — “The Subpoena for Deposition issued in this matter by Respondent to True Entertainment, LLC was not issued in good faith, and is yet another deliberate and desperate attempt by Respondent to undermine the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement, overexpand the case, and delay enforcement of the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement and resolution of this matter as a whole.”
She alleged that Simon was “attempting to intimidate, harass, and threaten her reputation, career, and ability to earn income by intimidating and harassing her employer.”
Porsha is asking the judge to toss his requests and pay all attorney fees and expenses tied to her legal response.
Porsha filed for divorce on February 22, after a 15-month marriage. She made the decision after her husband was outed in the press for alleged immigration fraud.
