‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Afraid Her Husband Will MURDER Her: ‘He Has Dark Secrets’
Jenelle Evans fears for her life amid her spilt from estranged husband, David Eason. The Teen Mom 2 alum spoke out about the situation during an Instagram Q&A session, on Friday, April 26.
“Everything he’s saying he’s just doing it to make himself ‘look better’ but in actuality he knows the person he truly is behind closed doors,” she told her followers of Eason.
She alleged — “He has some dark secrets no one knows but me.”
In early March, Jenelle Evans initiated a separation from her husband, citing alleged “erratic” behavior, issues with “substance abuse,” and his “refusal” to seek employment, per the U.S. Sun.
The news broke shortly after reports claimed that Evans had booted her husband and his 16-year-old daughter, Maryssa, from the family home.
Jenelle Evans noted Eason’s “erratic behavior” in her legal filing, and claimed that his “substance abuse” played a role in her decision to leave the marriage.
Legal documents also mentioned Evans’ teen son, Jace Evans’ past allegations of abuse against his stepfather. Last year, David faced charges of misdemeanor child abuse and felony strangulation, which launched a probe by Child Protective Services (CPS). The investigation was eventually closed.
The documents cited a troubling incident from 2019, when Eason shot the family dog after the animal allegedly bit the couple’s 2-year-old daughter.
“Throughout the duration of the marriage of the parties, the defendant has exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards the plaintiff,” Evans wrote in the legal docs.
Evans’ followers asked for more details during the recent chat session, but the former MTV star stayed tight-lipped, citing a perceived threat to her life.
“Not the right time but also I’m scared and feel like my life would be on the line,” Evans, who recently requested a restraining order against Eason, said.
She added — “There’s a huge investigation going on so I can’t comment on much at the moment.”
Evans later explained that she was afraid of Eason because of “the way he talks about people he hates.” She went on to claim that he had “threatened his baby mama’s life,” and routinely behaved in a controlling and demanding manner.
“Even his own daughter doesn’t want to live with him,” Evans said of their daughter, Ensley, whom the estranged couple welcomed in 2017.
The mom of three also took to social media to declare that she had no regrets about standing by her man for such a long time, despite his alleged “abusive” actions.
“I don’t regret that time because I learned a lot of life lessons that were very important for me to grow up and mature,” the former reality star wrote. “Life is easier to understand I would say. I always have learned from by mistakes and he was def a big mistake.”
