Lisa Vanderpump Does NOT Care About Kyle Richards’ Carpet Munching!

Lisa Vanderpump is uninterested in Kyle Richards’ love life amid her separation from estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.

The Vanderpump Rules star was asked to weigh in on rumors alleging that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was set to be axed from the show unless she agreed to openly share about her relationship with Morgan Wade. 

“Why do we have to know about her relationship?” Lisa said in an interview with Parade, published Monday. “I don’t want to know who’s munching on anything. I don’t care. How about that? I don’t care. Like, do what you got to do and keep it to yourself.”

Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their separation in July 2023, after a 27-year marriage. They share three daughters together, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. The pair has yet to file for divorce. 

The reality stars have kept what led to their breakup under wraps, but Kyle previously revealed that there were long-standing issues that had never been addressed. She said during the finale episode that “there were things that happened” that caused her to lose trust in her husband, but stopped short of telling the whole story. 

 

Kyle’s suspiciously cozy friendship with the country music singer sparked lots of online chatter in the wake of the power couple’s breakup.

In August, 2023, Kyle fueled the romance rumors when she appeared in a suggestive music video alongside her new bestie. The video, titled “Fall in Love with Me,” included footage of the women almost kissing, sharing a bathtub and feeding each other, among other provocative activities. The steamy production was supposedly designed to “poke fun” at the runaway rumor.

Kyle continued to raise eyebrows when she asked co-star, Dorit Kemsley, if she would ever consider dating a woman, on camera. Crystal Kung-Minkoff flipped the script and asked Kyle the same question. The married reality star casually replied, “yeah.” 

Kyle, 55, has repeatedly denied that she and Morgan, 29, share anything more than a friendship. However, the Bravo star admitted that she didn’t know where the relationship was headed during last month’s RHOBH reunion.  

“I don’t know,” she told host, Andy Cohen, when asked if she planned to pursue a romance with the singer. “I’m evolving, I’m changing. I’m clearly going through some evolution of my own and I don’t know what the future holds.”

Lisa and Kyle fell out during Season 9, after a leaked story exposed Dorit Kemsley’s botched dog adoption from Lisa’s dog rescue center. Several cast members believed that Lisa spilled the story to the press so Kyle confronted her with the accusation, on camera. Lisa vehemently denied the allegation, but Kyle did not stand by her friend.   

  

“I think that ship has sailed,” Lisa said of the duo’s past friendship during a recent appearance on Today. “When I’ve run into her, it hasn’t been exactly…I think she knows how I feel. I’ve been very honest about that.”

Lisa also expressed sadness over Kyle and Mauricio’s broken marriage.

“I knew there were many rumors but I’m kind of the biggest advocate of not listening to rumors, especially in the restaurant business and stuff,” she explained. “But I feel very sad for her because I know Kyle really held her marriage very close and near. It was very important to her, and she always kind of gave the impression of everything being perfect, whether it was or it wasn’t. I think it’s a shame, I really do. I hope they find their way back to each other.”
