Brittany Cartwright Frustrated She’s Not ‘Skinny’ After Split from Jax!!
Brittany Cartwright is on a mission to achieve a “revenge body,” opening up about her frustrations on the When Reality Hits podcast.
The Valley star shared with listeners that despite her separation from Jax Taylor,, she has not experienced the weight loss often associated with stress and emotional turmoil.
“I’m over here praying I get that thing [when you’re] going through a lot of stress,” Cartwright confessed during the podcast aired on Thursday. She expressed her dismay at not feeling the typical “skinny, can’t eat s–t vibes” that some undergo during challenging times.
Her guest, Michelle Lally, remarked on the common reactions to stress, noting:
“There are two types of women. [There are] the women that can’t stop eating because they’re stressed out.”
Brittany, 35, quickly related to the observation, expressing her frustration, “That is what’s happening to me. Like, why can’t I be the other way?” As the conversation progressed, Michelle encouraged Cartwright to “force [herself],” prompting Brittany to share her efforts to regain control.
Brittany revealed that she is adhering to a Jenny Craig regimen and maintaining a routine of going to the gym four times a week. With a potential reunion of The Valley, coming soon, Cartwright is determined to transform her physique. “If we have a [‘The Valley‘] reunion or whatever, I’m trying to get this revenge body on fleek,” she stated. “Hopefully, I’ll be a skinny, stressed girl soon.”
Brittany Cartwright’s recent remarks on her struggle with stress and eating habits come shortly after she addressed a critical comment on social media. The former Vanderpump Rules star, who announced a 40-pound weight loss in 2023, responded to an Instagram user who suggested that her “big” chest made her look “heavier.” Brittany clapped back saying, “Could you imagine me going on your page and commenting on your body? Yes, my boobs are big, cool.”
This incident occurred amidst personal challenges, including her public split from Jax Taylor in February, after nearly five years of marriage. Prior to their separation, Brittany hinted at marital issues in a trailer for “The Valley,” where she revealed that her husband was no longer “attracted” to her.
Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor, though now estranged, continue to co-parent their three-year-old son, Cruz. Before their separation, they were actively trying to expand their family, a topic Brittany discussed in a recent episode of “Vanderpump Rules.” “This month, we’re officially trying,” she revealed during the show, which was filmed from June to September of the previous year.
Following her move out of their shared home and into an Airbnb, Cartwright’s personal life and family planning have remained topics of public interest. In the latest episode of the podcast aired on Wednesday, Brittany confirmed her ongoing desire to have another child. She also opened up about considering alternative methods to achieve this goal, indicating that using a sperm donor is a possibility she is willing to explore.
Brittany Cartwright shared a light-hearted moment on the podcast when she discussed her options for expanding her family, playfully suggesting she might “go the Lala way.” This comment refers to fellow reality star Lala Kent, who chose to conceive her second baby girl through intrauterine insemination (IUI).
Brittany Cartwright opened up to Us Weekly on April 3rd about her current relationship status and her outlook on re-entering the dating scene. While she didn’t exactly label herself as single, she hinted at a readiness to explore new romantic possibilities.
“I mean, I wouldn’t say [I’m] single, but am I ready to mingle? Maybe,” she quipped humorously. However, she emphasized that any potential partner would need to be exceptional, stating, “it would have to be [with] somebody really great.”
