Lala Kent Breaks Down In Tears Over Hate from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Fans!

During a recent Amazon Live session on Tuesday, April 23, Lala Kent opened up about her struggles with the current season of “Vanderpump Rules” and the backlash from fans. Despite not watching the season as it airs, Lala is aware of the criticisms directed at her. “I was kind of getting into a darker place this season. I’ve stayed off the internet, but I don’t need to stay off the internet… like, I know what people are saying,” she stated, emphasizing the difficulty of facing negative feedback while having no regrets about her participation in the season.

Visibly emotional, Lala explained her decision to disengage from all things related to Bravo and the show for the time being, choosing instead to focus on her pregnancy and the joy of expecting her second child—a girl conceived through intrauterine insemination (IUI) earlier this year. “This is my real life and I know the show is too, but I just want to stay in my real life of creating my family,” she said, tearfully. She also expressed contentment with her life and pride in her achievements, stating, “I live a really amazing, amazing life… I’m really proud of the success that I’ve gained on my own with many, many years of hard work and I just want to relish in that.”

Lala further shared her desire to preserve this period as a positive time in her life, free from the negative impacts of public scrutiny. “I love Bravo and I love NBCU, and I love Vanderpump Rules and I love all of you guys. But this is a really important time in my life, and I will be damned if anybody tarnishes or gives me memories of it not being a beautiful time in my life,” she explained, highlighting her resolve to avoid negativity.

Despite the challenges, Lala Kent revealed that she had made peace with the events of the season, particularly after the filming of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion last month. She commented on the honesty of her co-stars over the years, though she noted a shift at the reunion where she felt people denied events she believed occurred. “At the reunion, people [were] looking at me dead in the eyes being like, ‘That never happened,'” she recounted, suggesting that the reunion will showcase significant confrontations and resolutions.

Throughout the latest season of “Vanderpump Rules,Lala Kent has been vocal about Ariana Madix’s handling of her situation with Tom Sandoval, her cheating ex. Ariana has claimed that Tom attempted to harm her dog. Despite these serious accusations, Ariana has continued to reside in the same house as Tom. This has drawn mixed reactions from fans; while some criticize Lala for her confrontations, others support her for highlighting what they see as hypocrisy among her co-stars.

Lala Kent has been shading Ariana,  Lala had spoke out in support of Scheana Shay, urging Ariana Madix to defend her friend amidst the backlash over a group photo featuring Scheana and Tom Sandoval that went viral. Kent criticized Madix for her lack of support, emphasizing loyalty among friends. “It’s time for Ariana to pull her head from out of her own ass. She needs to come back to reality and remember who her friends are and what they’ve done for her,” Kent remarked. “Scheana has been ride or die since day one for Ariana, and now it’s time for Ariana to return the favor.”

After the reunion, Lala Kent has unfollowed Ariana Madix, 38, and Katie Maloney, 37. She said on April 11th, via Amazon Live – “I have 2.4 [million] and then it was like, following 227,” she recalled. “[And] it bothers me when that number isn’t kind of consistent. So I went in to see who I could unfollow and they were the two that I seemed to not be that interested in following any longer.”

Despite Lala Kent expressing distress over fan backlash, on the April 8 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, she conveyed a defiant message to her listeners. “You guys, I love you so much, but if you’re thinking about writing me some scathing – like, don’t waste your time, please. Do something more productive because I truly don’t care. Like, if you used to love me and you don’t this season, I don’t care. Sorry,” Lala told her audience.
