Ariana Madix Questions Returning to ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Since Becoming A Famous Actress!
Ariana Madix expressed doubts about her return to Vanderpump Rules for the show’s 12th season during a promotional event at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
Following her tumultuous breakup with Tom Sandoval in Season 10, 38-year-old Ariana Madix is still uncertain about continuing on the show.
While discussing her latest publication, Single AF Cocktails, at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Ariana reflected on her potential involvement in the next season. “It would have to make sense for me,” she stated, emphasizing the importance of authenticity in the reality series.
“Our show has always thrived, it’s always at its best when it is at its most authentic and its most real, and I have to be able to show up and be real and be authentic in order for it to make sense for me,” Ariana explained. Her comments highlighted her need for genuine representation on the show, aligning with her personal and professional values.
“So that’s the question I would be asking myself going into it,” she said.
Following the breakup, Ariana has been selective about her involvement in the series, notably refusing to film scenes with Sandoval as they both continue to appear in the current season.
Scheana Shay recently opened up about the current state of her friendship with co-star Ariana. Speaking to Page Six during her promotional appearance for Smirnoff ICE’s “Surpr-ICEs” campaign at Coachella in Indio, California, Shay revealed that her relationship with Ariana has cooled.
“Things definitely aren’t where they were a year ago,” Shay said, reflecting on the recent difficulties between them. Despite the tension, Scheana Shay remains optimistic about a possible reconciliation. She expressed hope for improvement in their friendship once Ariana returns to the west coast after her stint as Roxie Hart in “Chicago” on Broadway.
The possibility of reconciling arises during the Season 11 reunion taping — where tension between the ladies hint at deeper unresolved issues.
Scheana and her husband, Brock Davies, showed their support for Ariana by attending her final performance in “Chicago” on Broadway on April 7. Despite the current strains in their friendship, the couple made an effort to be present, indicating a gesture of goodwill on Scheana’s part.
While interactions between Scheana and Ariana were minimal — Scheana reported that they were polite and exchanged greetings after the show. “I think it’s just tough, the position we’re all in and the reunion didn’t necessarily help bring us closer together,” Scheana divulged.
