‘Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise’ Selita Ebanks Advises Julian Foster on Navigating a ‘Messy’ Secret
Things are getting spicy on Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise.
Former Victoria’s Secret Angel, Selita Ebanks, advises Julian Foster on how to navigate a “messy” secret, involving playboy, Craig Jervis, in a preview of Tuesday’s episode.
“I kinda feel like Craig should know,” Foster tells Eubanks in the latest episode.
Eubanks disagrees, telling Foster to keep the info under wraps.
“No,” she says over a shared lunch. “Listen, I hear a lot of stuff. I just be like, ‘Hmm.’”
Eubanks points out that Jervis might be rattled by Foster’s information, rather than grateful for the scoop.
“Sometimes people don’t take news like that. You think you’re being a caring friend and putting them on so that they could be in front of it,” the model tells her friend.
She adds — “Instead, he could take it like, ‘Oh, you’re being messy.’”
Eubanks draws a parallel between Jervis’ situation and her co-star, Chelsea Flynn’s rocky relationship with Tyson, her current fiancé and father of her child.
“It just reminds me of Chelsea’s situation,” she says in a confessional interview, seemingly giving a nod to Tyson’s alleged infidelity. “Just because you catch a fish don’t mean you gotta reel it in. Throw that s—t back.”
Eubanks warns her pal that stirring up drama could create issues within the friend group.
“You say one thing, it turns into a whole drama,” she tells cameras, noting that an upcoming boating excursion “could a little get ugly” if the secret is spilled.
Foster doubles down despite the warnings, commenting — “I just feel like he should know.”
Eubanks and Foster shared how they approached their time in the reality TV spotlight during a media event in the Caribbean, earlier this month.
“Reality TV is a lot,” Eubanks told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “And I think when you guys watch this show, you’re going to see exactly what I mean because there were moments where I was completely frazzled and had to check myself and say, ‘Girl, get it together.’”
Foster confirmed that he had a good time, despite facing challenges in his friendship with the ex-wife of actor, Armie Hammer, Elizabeth Chambers.
“She’s my friend, and I care about her,” he said of Elizabeth, who reportedly clashed with many of her co-stars.
He added — “She’s an amazing mother, and she’s trying to take care of her kids, and she’s trying to open these businesses, and all at the same time, I’m trying to show my group of friends that she is actually a good person deep down.”
Eubanks, Foster, Flynn, Jervis and Chambers star on the unscripted series alongside Courtney McTaggart, Aaron Bernardo, Cass Lacelle, Victoria Coleman, Trevor Coleman, Teri Bilewitch, Dillon Claassens and Connor Bunney.
Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise airs Tuesdays, at 9:30 pm ET, on Freeform. New episodes are available the next day on Hulu.
