Raquel Leviss Justifies Suing Ariana Madix for Her “Illegal” Actions …  Tom Sandoval Responds!

Raquel Leviss recently spoke out about her decision to sue Ariana Madix, describing her actions as “illegal” and criticizing Vanderpump Rules for exploiting her situation as a recurring “storyline.”

In a further twist, Raquel has accused her ex, Tom Sandoval, of recording an intimate video during their affair — while he was still with Ariana — without her consent. She is taking legal action against Tom for the unauthorized recording and against Ariana for allegedly distributing it.

On her podcast “Rachel Goes Rogue,” Raquel Leviss opened up about the complex decisions behind her lawsuit against Ariana Madix. “Choosing to take legal action was not something I chose lightly,” she stated, acknowledging the public backlash she anticipated. She explained the necessity of her actions against both Tom Sandoval, for allegedly recording an intimate video without consent, and Ariana, for purportedly distributing it.

While admitting her own moral missteps, Raquel stressed the illegality of recording and distributing private videos. “What I did was not morally right, but recording and distributing a video is also not right… One is illegal. So that’s hard,” she confessed, expressing guilt over the potential pain caused.

Raquel also addressed the ongoing mentions of her on Vanderpump Rules, explaining her frustrations with being pulled into the show’s narrative against her wishes. Despite choosing not to participate actively, she feels the show continues to involve her. “I have no choice what they say about me,” she remarked, hopeful that time will distance her from the series.

Emphasizing her empowerment through her podcast, Raquel declared, “Having my own podcast is part of what makes me feel so empowered today, that I get to reclaim my narrative.” She conveyed her intention to reshape the story that Vanderpump Rules portrays of her, striving for a reflection on her past from a more healed perspective.

On the Vanderpump Rules After Show following the April 16 episode, Tom Sandoval, 40, responded to the controversial remarks made by Raquel, 29, on Bethenny Frankel’s “Just B” podcast in August.

“If she actually really does wanna move on, maybe she should stop talking about me on a weekly basis. Stop talking about the show,” he said, before shifting gears and recognizing that Leviss’ continued dialogue about her affair with him — which ended his nine-year relationship with their VPR costar Ariana Madix — is somewhat of a career move.

“You know what, I take that back. Girl’s gotta eat, you know what I mean, she’s gotta make some money,” Sandoval said, to which Tom Schwartz agreed, saying that Leviss is getting her “bag,” referring to the money she’s making.

Tom Sandoval critiqued Bethenny Frankel’s three-part podcast series with Raquel as “rich and ironic” on the Vanderpump Rules After Show. He pointed out that while the former “Real Housewives” star discussed how Raquel was being exploited, she was, in his view, doing the same thing by leveraging Raquel’s situation for the podcast.

During her appearance on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, Raquel stirred controversy with several bold statements. She described her relationship with Ariana, 38, as being more like “acquaintances” than “friends.” Raquel also suggested that Sandoval was “rewarded” by Vanderpump Rules amidst the scandal arising from their affair, and admitted that being caught was necessary for the affair to end.

Now stepping away from Vanderpump Rules for its 11th season, which premiered in January, Raquel has launched her own podcast, “Rachel Goes Rogue.” On this platform, she continues to express her views about her former co-stars and the affair that made headlines, offering her perspective on the events that unfolded.
