‘Little People, Big World’ Zach and Tori SKIP OUT on Farm Event, Leaving Matt Roloff MAJORLY Disappointed
‘Little People, Big World’ Zach and Tori SKIP OUT on Farm Event, Leaving Matt Roloff MAJORLY Disappointed!
Matt Roloff shares his disappointment after his son, Zach Roloff, and wife, Tori, decline an invitation to an upcoming Dwarf Athletic Association of America fundraiser hosted by the Little People Big World star and his ex-wife, Amy Roloff.
Tuesday’s episode features Matt expressing frustration with Amy over their son’s decision to skip the upcoming event.
“Have you heard back from Zach and Tori?” Matt asks his ex, in the episode.
Amy replies — “I hear they had other plans for this weekend, so you know…”
Matt makes it clear that he questions the couple’s story, theorizing that “they planned to make other plans. I think they made sure they had a good alibi.”
Amy admits that she doesn’t know the nature of Zach and Tori’s plans, just that the family would not be attending her fundraiser at Roloff Farms.
“Whatever it is, I just think they should have been here to support you, to support their organization,” Matt tells Amy. “It’s funny to see little Jackson and Lilah kicking the soccer ball around, and then to go to the convention last year and then not have them support you and this fundraiser.”
He adds — “It’s disappointing to me to see them not support your thing.”
Amy remains neutral, commenting — “I’m not stuck on that.”
Zach and Tori share three young children together, Jackson, Lilah and Josiah.
Matt shares more of his feelings on his son’s seeming snub in a confessional interview.
“I’m disappointed,” Matt says. “I thought that Zach would maybe come down with Jackson, so it’s disappointing. I don’t get upset about that kind of stuff. I think Zach and Tori are going to be away. I think everybody gets to set their own priorities in life. I’m sadder for Amy than I am for me. I’m kinda used to keeping the space and the distance. I think Amy, this was something she conceived. I think it’s for the benefit of Zach and Jackson and Lilah and Josiah. So for them to have a different priority that’s their choice, you can’t cry over that. So everybody has to make their own choices with their own priorities.”
Amy acknowledges that she will miss Zach and his family during the special event, but reminds Matt that Zach contributes to the organization on his own time.
“He does a lot for DAAA,” Amy tells her ex. “But anyway, it would have been great if they were able to come. They’re not, so we move on.”
Zach and Tori admitted that they were estranged from Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, during Season 23 of LPBW. The couple implied that Caryn had influenced Matt’s decision to not accept their offer on a portion of farm property.
“[Matt and Caryn] still think they have done nothing wrong,” Zach noted during an episode that aired in November 2022.
Zach and Tori moved from Oregon to Battle Ground, Washington after the deal fell through, and have not returned to the farm.
Zach shut down earlier this season when a producer asked him to weigh in on his father’s recent engagement to his longtime girlfriend, seemingly confirming the ongoing rift.
