Kyle Richards Does NOT DENY Rihanna’s Claims She’s DATING Morgan Wade!
Kyle Richards has addressed Rihanna’s remark about her rumored romance with Morgan Wade.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke to HELLO after the 36-year-old pop star told Interview magazine that she believed that there was “something” going on between the two women.
“It’s pretty funny,” Kyle told the outlet of Rihanna’s comment, at Wednesday’s ‘An Unforgettable Evening,’ befitting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund. “I don’t know why though, but in these last couple of years I feel like everything I do is talked about and now I’m sort of desensitized to the headlines.”
The reality star continued —“I’ve seen so many lies, I’ve seen so many truths, I’ve seen things that are just shocking to see in writing, so now I’m just sort of desensitized. I think there’s probably nothing that I can read about myself that would shock me at this point.”
Kyle added — “[I] would never have imagined that I would be in the situation that I am in today. But life falls and it’s all about how we handle those situations, so I’m just trying to be strong and take care of myself and do the best I can for myself and for my daughters.”
The Bravo star also recently spoke about sharing more details behind her split from estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, while filming the second season of the real estate mogul’s reality show, “Buying Beverly Hills.”
“In an odd sort of way it was a little bit cathartic,” Kyle, 55, told Extra. “Actually, more than a little, actually having to talk about it on the show because nobody wanted to. We certainly didn’t want to address it and kind of being forced to do so did open the things that did need to be addressed.”
In an episode that aired last month, Mauricio addressed his estranged wife’s suspiciously cozy relationship with the 29-year-old musician during an exchange with a colleague.
The real estate mogul appeared to be in the dark about his wife’s cryptic “connection” to the country music singer.
“Honestly I just never asked straight up,” Mauricio said, when asked to explain “what’s going on with Morgan.”
He added — “They definitely have some sort of connection together. They spend a lot of time together. What that connection is I have no idea.”
Mauricio admitted that he had been reluctant to find out more about Kyle’s relationship with the singer.
“Maybe one of the reasons I don’t want to ask is because I don’t want to put the extra pressure on her. If it’s working for her and it’s giving her the opportunity to be dealing with our separation, I’m good with that,” he told his co-worker.
Kyle shared that she planned to take time to “process” before filming RHOBH Season 14. She confirmed that she and Mauricio remain “good friends.”
“We get along and no matter what, we are always going to be family and friends so we’ll see. We’ll see what life has in store for us next,” she said.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 production is expected to kick off later this month.
