‘RHOP’ Star Wendy Osefo’s Home Burglarized During Vacation … Fans Speculate Another Nigerian Scam!
Speculation swirls as Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo faces scrutiny after her home is burglarized while on vacation, with some fans drawing parallels to past controversies.
Wendy Osefo, 39, returned from a vacation to Jamaica to discover her residence had been burglarized, with several cherished belongings missing.
A spokesperson for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the incident was reported on April 7, with an ongoing investigation. However, no further details were provided at the time.
“My family and I are devastated and feel violated by this intrusion,” Wendy Osefo expressed to TMZ. “We thank God no one was home … so for that we feel very blessed. Material things can always be replaced.”
Sources informed the outlet that the burglars absconded with several of her designer bags, notably including some of her Hermès Birkins. Additionally, a significant quantity of her jewelry was also taken.
Wendy Osefo, 39, embarked on a trip to the Azul Beach Resort Negril with her husband, Eddie, and their three children for the kids’ spring break. Throughout their vacation, she had been sharing moments from their getaway on Instagram.
Wendy shared multiple snapshots capturing her family relishing beach activities, savoring delectable meals, and indulging in various island experiences.
“Spring Break ’24,” she captioned an Instagram carousel featuring their adventures.
The author of Tears of My Mother is not the only Bravolebrity to encounter burglary. In a previous incident, Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK, were victims of a home invasion, during which Dorit faced threats at gunpoint.
PK has since criticized some of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s experiences with PTSD, referring to certain aspects as “obnoxious.”
“There are elements I understand. There are also elements that I don’t consider are PTSD –– I don’t,” he remarked on a recent episode of the Bravo reality show. “I consider they’re more obnoxious.”
Some RHOP fans have expressed suspicion regarding the burglary and speculate whether it was orchestrated by the RHOP star to collect insurance money. One fan wrote, “Inside job. Or .. side note : that’s why sometimes it’s best to post after the vacation cause you never know who’s watching”

In an era where surveillance technology is ubiquitous, it does seem rather peculiar that the Osefos didn’t have cameras installed to notify them of the burglary transpiring in their absence. After all, one would expect such measures to be in place to promptly alert authorities and thwart intruders.
