‘RHUGT’ Producer Claims Caroline Manzo Is LYING About Brandi Glanville Sexual Assault

A Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip executive producer claimed that while Caroline Manzo felt “disrespected” by co-star, Brandi Glanville, she was not “sexually violated” by her, according to new court documents.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum filed a lawsuit against Bravo and Peacock earlier this year, alleging that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum kissed and groped her without her consent while filming the “Housewives” spinoff in Morocco, in January 2023.

Manzo claimed that Glanville, 51, “proceeded to mount Manzo on the couch holding Manzo down with her body, forcibly squeezed Manzo’s cheeks together and thrust her tongue in Manzo’s mouth, while humping her,” per the lawsuit.

Lisa Shannon stated in a filed response that Manzo, 62, told producers that Glanville’s alleged actions had “triggered memories” of her past “childhood trauma,” but did not reference an assault.

Documents obtained by Page Six stated — “Our primary concern at that point was making sure that Manzo felt safe. She told us that she felt safe, that she wanted to continue to film, and that she did not want Glanville to be sent home.”

Shannon claimed that Manzo was “not left alone” with Glanville that evening or the next morning. Manzo purportedly told Shannon and other members of the production team that she “felt safe” and wanted to continue filming.

The conversation, outlined in the documents, said that Manzo told the producer—“‘Listen, I feel safe, okay, I feel your support. This is for me… I’m dealing with something that has been buried deep in my soul for 50 years.’”

The producers purportedly cut Glanville out of group activities after the incident. However, various cast members “perceived the events differently,” according to the court docs.

“‘All of us thought we were having fun,’” Phaedra Parks reportedly told Manzo. “‘No one knew about whatever has happened to you in the past.’”

Shannon also alleged that Manzo left the trip early because other cast members told her, via a group text, that they planned to visit Glanville at her hotel, which was the “only time” that Manzo purportedly requested to not be filmed.

“At that time, she asked the production crew not to film her, and we honored that request,” Shannon stated.

“Other than that incident, Manzo never asked not to be filmed or express to me, or to my knowledge, anyone else from production, that she was uncomfortable being filmed,” she said.

Shannon pointed out that Manzo “willingly allowed production to film her” as she discussed her plan to leave Morocco early. She noted that Manzo was paid in full, despite her early departure.

In January, Glanville’s rep responded to the lawsuit, telling Page Six— “Sadly, Brandi had to wake up to yet another lawsuit that includes defamatory, false accusations about her.”

“While filming, Brandi followed what the producers asked of her, and there was no sexual assault. She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed or Bravo.”

The rep said — “This painful storytelling seems endless and needs to stop. She is looking to move on and upward and get her life back.”
