Lala Kent Calls Out Ariana Madix for Ignoring Tom’s Rants Against ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Co-Stars While Seeking Their Support

Lala Kent criticizes Ariana Madix for her passive response to Tom’s outbursts at their Vanderpump Rules co-stars, yet expecting their support against him.

Lala Kent criticized Ariana Madix for now seeking the support of their Vanderpump Rules co-stars against her former partner Tom Sandoval, despite having allowed him to berate them in the past, with Ariana now “suddenly … looking for backup.”

In this season, Lala has scrutinized Ariana’s contentious choices. Recently, she alleged that Tom tried to harm her dog. Following his self-defense before the group, Lala chastised her fellow cast members for their lack of support.

“We’re talking about a man, Tom Sandoval, who season nine was screaming — or whatever season we brought on these random people, season eight — losing his goddamn mind on everybody,” said Lala on the Give Them Lala podcast, via @breakingtherulespod on Instagram, “and Ariana sitting across from me saying, ‘The thing I love about him, that’s what I love about Tom Sandoval … that he yells at women.’”

“Who has never come to anyone’s defense?” asked Lala, alluding to when Tom was “unkind” to her and Katie Maloney in the past. “Ariana Madix. Not once. She falls back, lets it happen.”

“And now suddenly because you’re on the receiving end of his misogynistic ways, you’re looking for backup?” she went on. “There’s only one way to look at it. I went on to this season, and when things didn’t make sense, I asked questions, and was essentially looked at like someone who doesn’t support women anymore, someone who’s jealous.”

While numerous fans support Ariana, they are puzzled by her expectations from the friend group. While a faction of the audience relishes watching Tom being repeatedly criticized, a segment feels weary of the recurring narrative.

One person expressed, “I used to be team Ariana, now I can’t help but think she has us all fooled and manipulated by using this situation to continue the victim role to fit her narrative. Tom tried to break it off and she said she wouldn’t let him and she’d harm herself. “
