Lawsuit Claims Kanye West Threatened to Shave Students’ Heads and Cage Them at Donda Academy!
Kanye West is being accused of threatening to shave the heads of Donda Academy students and lock them in cages, according to a new lawsuit.
Former Yeezy employee, Trevor Phillips, alleged that he suffered “severe discrimination, harassment, and retaliation” from the rapper while working at his design firm. He explained in his lawsuit, obtained by Page Six, that he went on to work at the musician’s since-closed school.
Phillips claimed that West told two children attending the school that he “wanted to shave their heads” and “intended to put a jail at the school,” according to court documents. He further alleged that West “proudly” spouted antisemitic conspiracies in the presence of the students.
Phillips alleged that West, 46, ripped into Jewish people during a December 2022 dinner at Nobu Malibu, calling them “miserly,” while praising Adolf Hitler as “an innovator.” Phillips added that the controversial artist claimed that the Holocaust was “fake.”
The former staffer also claimed that West would display “incessant inappropriate conduct” and show off his “apparent arousal.”
The lawsuit stated — “What was meant to be a meeting with his boss about Donda Academy, its curriculum and horticulture, ended up being antisemitic and bigoted soliloquy-topped off with sexual harassment.”
Phillips alleged that West “began threatening the LGBTQ community” after the group’s sushi was served.
“‘Yeah I’m going for the gays! FIRST the Jews, THEN the gays!’” Phillips claimed that West announced, further stating that the singer allegedly asserted that Bill Gates “controls,” homosexuals.
Phillips, who is black, stated that the fashion designer purportedly “treated black employees palpably worse than white employees.” He added that West “commanded” a black campus security guard to “shave his head” or face being axed from his position. The documents stated that the guard later resigned.
Phillips claimed that he was fired by West during one of his Sunday services, in May 2023.
Carney R. Shegerian, Phillips’ lawyer, told Page Six in a statement—
“By filing this lawsuit, we hope our injured clients’ rights are vindicated, and that the famous artist Mr. West understands that his messages – which we alleged preach discrimination, antisemitism and Hitler-love – have no place in the world.”
Phillips is seeking general and special damages exceeding $35,000. He is suing for discrimination, harassment, a hostile work environment and more. He is also requesting an injunction to prevent West from owning any school for kids under 18 in the state of California.
