Tori Spelling’s Teen Daughter BULLIED Over the Family Being HOMELESS!
The Beverly Hills 90210 alum addressed the situation during the premiere episode of her new podcast, recalling a story involving her 15-year-old daughter, Stella, and how her classmates believed that her family was “homeless” after images of the famous clan circulated last year.
“My daughter is like, ‘People already talk about us at school. They know you and they know the family and they read the press,’” Spelling explained on her “Misspelling” podcast.
She continued — “She had someone come up to her at school and ask, ‘Are you in the school district, or where does your RV park? Because you live in an RV with your mom right?’”
The 50-year-old actress said that the family had actually rented the motorhome for a coastal camping adventure “like every other family.”
“She was shamed,” Spelling said of the teenager.
Spelling dropped a divorce bomb on her estranged husband, Dean McDermott, during a separate segment of the podcast. She did not broadcast McDermott’s voice, but the pair seemingly squabbled over who should’ve filed for divorce first.
“They’ve done it. It’s the formality. It’s just the one sheet you check off, and next you’ll have to sign it,” Spelling, who split from her husband nine months ago, told the “Chopped Canada” host.
“You basically put it out there with Daily Mail and said everything you’ve done to me over the years, so I think it makes perfect sense that it followed up that I would file,” she added.
She ended the phone conversation with a simple “Love you.”
The surprise phone call came just two days after Spelling’s divorce filing became public and nine months after McDermott spilled their separation news on Instagram.
Spelling and McDermott, 57, tied the knot in 2006 and decided to part ways in June 2023. They share five children together, Stella, Liam, 17, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7.
Spelling moved into a string of rental properties shortly after the breakup. She lived in a series of rental homes and cheap motels before moving into the RV for a period of time, during the summer of 2023.
The family currently resides in a luxury five-bedroom, three-bath San Fernando Valley property, per the Daily Mail.
McDermott reportedly moved in with girlfriend, Lily Calo, earlier this year.
