Janelle Brown shared her thoughts as a grieving mom, only weeks after her son, Robert Garrison Brown’s tragic death by suicide.

Janelle, who shared Garrison with ex spiritual husband, Kody Brown, said that she was “honored” to have received a flood of encouraging messages of support.

“So many of you wrote of your thoughts and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” the mom of six said.

Janelle also described how her son was recently honored by his National Guard Unit in a celebration of life ceremony.

“He would have loved it,” she wrote. “Many [of] you have already seen a lot of these online, often with snarky comments accompanying them. But this was a beautiful moment for us.”

Kody, his one remaining wife, Robyn Brown, his ex, Christine Brown, and her new husband, David Woolley, were also seated in the front row. Kody’s ex, Meri Brown, was also in attendance as were several of Kody’s 18 children, their spouses and partners.

Robert Garrison Brown was found dead on Tuesday, March 5 at his Flagstaff, Arizona home. Garrison’s brother, Gabriel Brown, reportedly found his sibling’s body and police later determined that he had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Garrison sent a text to a group tied to the former plural family’s reality show before taking his own life, writing — “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. I miss these days.”

The Brown family gathered to lay him to rest four days later.

Janelle celebrated Easter in North Carolina with her daughter, Madison Brush, her husband, Caleb, and her three grandchildren.

“I have been even more grateful for my faith this year,” she wrote on Instagram. “The remembrance of the Savior and His gift of eternal life. We opted for the NC beach today.”
