‘Love Is Blind’ Star AD Smith Accused Of Having A SUGAR DADDY While Filming Netflix Show
Fans were not impressed when Clay Gravesande rejected popular Love is Blind star, Amber Desiree “AD” Smith, at the altar. Clay stated that he needed more time to think it over amid concern over his fiancée’s finances.
A man who claims to be Clay’s best friend grabbed the attention of fans when he chimed in on the controversy on social media. An Instagram user, who goes by @headbanshawti, claimed that AD is not a real estate agent and has a sugar daddy in the wings paying her bills.
The person wrote — “Im Clays best friend an we both been living out in Charlotte for years now. AD finances are in fact funny. She has a Suga Daddy that is funding her life.”
The comment continued — “Bought her a car and apartment. She’s not a Realtor, ask her to show us one house she sold or a picture she took with someone in front of the house she just sold them I’ll wait. The never to do a press run to lie on a dude that has said nothing but kind respectful things about her is nasty work.”
The individual also alleged that the mystery man once confronted Clay and warned him to back off, because of his own romantic relationship with the Netflix star. The showdown reportedly occurred in November 2023.
The IG user claimed that AD was involved with her alleged financial supporter the entire time she was getting to know Clay.
“November 2023 around her birthday her sugar daddy confronted Clay and I outside the club stating he was still involved with her and had been the entire time and told Clay to stop messing with her,” the person wrote.
Earlier this month, AD, 32, dished about the engagement ring Clay gave her when he popped the question, during an appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast.
She told Nick Viall and his co-hosts that she had kept the ring, but was unsure of its value.
“It was cute. I was like, ‘You picked last. You picked last, didn’t you?’” she said, when asked if she liked the ring.
AD implied that Clay had last pick of the rings offered during the reality TV dating experiment, and claimed that he had confirmed the same.
She declared — “I need my man to run to the front of the line and get the best ring.”
AD denied that she pushed Clay to commit to marriage, despite how their story was portrayed on the show. She explained that Clay would appear on board with the relationship, but would then “hit me with a sprinkle like, ‘I’m just afraid to get married.’”
She added — “And he’d be like, ‘AD, I’m not going to embarrass you. I’m not going to humiliate you.’”
AD described the pair’s current relationship as a “flirty” friendship, but with no chance of reconciliation.
