In an Instagram post shared on Thursday, the reality star expressed her disappointment, stating:

“I just got word today that I will not be returning to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement.”

Annemarie clarified that she did not audition for the hit Bravo show. She asserted that she was approached to join the cast “out of the blue,” and that it happened six weeks after filming had commenced with the existing cast.

“I was very excited about the opportunity, and I thought following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming the last season was the way the ‘game was played.’ Listening to what I was instructed to do was my rookie mistake,” she continued.

The nurse anesthesiologist reiterated her disappointment, expressing regret that viewers never had the opportunity to witness her authentic self or even catch a glimpse of her unique life story.

“Contrary to what was shown on TV, I am not obsessed with the esophagus! LOL,” she added, alluding to a heated argument she had with Sutton Stracke regarding the size of Stracke’s esophagus.

Annemarie elaborated on her desire for more representation of her family life on RHOBH, highlighting her pride as a Black woman married to a strong Black man and raising four children.

“It was an important mission of mine for the next season to show a solid black family unit and that ‘true black love’ exists, even in Beverly Hills,” she wrote.

Following the announcement of her departure, numerous fans took to the comments section to voice their disappointment with the decision.

“❤👏,” executive producer and Bravo personality Andy Cohen commented.

“You got one of the most unfair chances we’ve ever seen unfortunately. You deserved another shot. I’m so sorry this is happening,” one person wrote.

“Very disappointing. Why? I’m sorry but Crystal is boring and needs to go. I enjoyed seeing a housewife have a career that many could relate too. I’m an RN and it was refreshing to have you on the show. ❤,” someone else added.
