Bank Moves to Seize ‘RHOA’ Kim Zolciak’s Daughter’s Land Rover Following Ignored Lawsuit
Kim Zolciak’s daughter, Brielle Biermann, is facing the seizure of her 2019 Land Rover after blowing off responding to a lawsuit over alleged missed loan payments.
Ally Bank is asking a Georgia judge to green light a Turnover order, which would allow the local sheriff to seize the luxury vehicle, according to court documents obtained by Radar Online.
In December, Ally Bank claimed that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and her 26-year-old daughter both signed a retail installment sale contract for the purchase of a 2019 Land Range Rover.
The lawsuit stated — “Defendants have defaulted on their obligations under the Contract. As of May 31, 2023, Defendants are indebted to Ally in the sum of $83,969.35. on the Contract.”
Kim and Brielle committed to monthly payments of $1903, per the contract. The bank requested permission to repossess the vehicle.
In mid-January, Ally notified the court that Kim and Brielle had been served with legal documents.
The duo has yet to file a response to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit is only one of several financial setbacks for Kim and her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, amid the pair’s messy divorce.
Kim and Kroy were slapped with a federal tax lien on April 11, shortly before they announced their impending divorce. The IRS accused the couple of owing over a million dollars in back taxes for the years 2013, 2017 and 2018. Kroy was later hit with a lawsuit over outstanding debt racked up in a Bahamas casino and an unpaid bill tied to a car lease. Kim is also being sued by Saks/Capital One for neglecting to pay $150k in credit card debt and fees.
Kim and Kroy’s breakup has been marked by multiple lawsuits, domestic skirmishes and an ongoing threat of foreclosure on their Georgia mansion.
In January, the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker asked the court to require Kim to pay him half of the profits she’d collected from selling their possessions online.
“However, what is known is that none of the funds have been utilized to support the marital estate,” Kroy stated, noting that he was “seeking an equitable division of marital assets,” including “the personal property acquired during the marriage but [is] currently in the sole possession of [Zolciak].”
Last month, Kim accused her soon-to-be ex of selling details pertaining to their ongoing divorce to the press in a filed confidentiality order, per TMZ.
The 45-year-old requested a protective order that would redact key names and financial records contained in divorce documents she submitted to the court.
An insider later told Page Six that Kroy believed that Kim made the legal maneuver because she had “a whole lot” to hide.
“Kroy has absolutely nothing to hide in these divorce proceedings and documents,” a source told the outlet, adding that Kim allegedly “does a whole lot and she doesn’t want the public to know about it.”
